He's had that facebook a/c since 2009 and it's likely there's lots of people who followed him while on Idol and just after who now don't actively follow him, all Idol, x factor contestants have a drop off in interest after the show ends
He was on the show for one season... he had three hit albums since then. You mean, maybe after he created three hit albums, people have lost interest? Maybe it's the music that is bugging people from listening to him.
Well that's not what it sounds like from people's comments everywhere but after his album in 2015 he's had four years of nothing much in new music and this is the first time he's put music out independently.

Also itunes where a lot of people buy music (myself included) has it's own chart where he charted high and has since been up and down the chart, clearly people are buying and downloading on there as well.

iTunes chart is integrated in the Billboard Hot 100 here in the USA. It measures all digital sales, physical sales, and streams... they tally it up and compare to other artists.

they know now and are checking his new stuff out hence the increase in followers recently.
I thought you don't care about popularity and increases in followers? Certainly you look more into him, and more often than you act, to notice a difference.
I don't need to he has a fan on Twitter who keeps track of every single increase in followers on every social media site, spotify etc and also keeps track of charts and increases and posts them daily/weekly - simple to just look, I don't need to be checking all the time myself although I do when I need proof like the one you didn't believe was right.

That's why I said Neon Trees is similar to him. Not in terms of style, or genre, but in terms of... Neon Trees did exactly that same thing.
Three albums (with less success than Adam)... then left the label... put out singles (no EP though) independently. 3x as many streams, 3x less followers.
Adam got to tour a lot with Queen, and everyone knows that's a lot of exposure... unless Adam Worshippers can admit, "Yes, most of the audience in Queen concerts go, not for Adam, but for Brian and Roger"

But the itunes sales and downloads in other countries won't be included, he went high in the UK and No 1 in some countries. Can't remember the No for the US on release.

A lot of the fans go for B & R and the music, the fact they think Adam does a good job won't make them automatically love his solo stuff since it's so different so although he gets exposure he doesn't get tons of new fans that way.

I know... and that's why you look at your county's official chart to see how he is doing overall.
@mistercosmicc
Been interesting chatting lol but I'm off to an appointment now so this will have to be resumed laters

SweetCaroline disagrees.
I know of Queen fans who have gone only to get a glance of seeing Brian and Roger.
I know some people would go just because going to concerts is fun.
Some diehard Queen fans don't mind Adam singing for them (I don't mind if he continues touring with Queen, I wish I had gotten to see the concert in NYC just for the experience and I live so close).
I know Adam has his own fans there, but if you think about it, it dwarfs in comparison to Queen. That's why there's a lot of arguments here, because people come here, his worshippers, and they big him up, and act as though he's the best thing ever... but you're on a page for Queen and Freddie... us here think Freddie's the best thing ever, and critics tend to agree. Queen are huge... they are the biggest, most famous band in the world.
This thread does not say that Adam is the best singer ever or better than Freddie or anyone else who is now deceased. It says he is the best singer currently in the here and now. Brancelli thinks Dimash is better. Everyone has their own subjective opinion. My opinion is that you can’t see everything on a video because the scope is limited. When you are there in person you see the whole view and not just a small portion.
AL is manufactured hype.
Real talent breaks into the music industry on talent alone.
Lambert has just been lucky by a very desperate Brian May wanting what was left of Queen to get back on the road again.
In fact technically Queen do not exist, Brian only pretends they do!
You have to be kidding! A lot of real talent goes nowhere! I hear people with amazing voices and good music and it just never happens for them. Then I see what is mainly on pop radio, people who can't sing and whose songs are drivel, but somehow something clicked for them. Nowadays I think it has much more to do with luck and who you know, although even that doesn't even necessarily help. Often nowadays it is just someone's personality that drives them on social media and that is all they need. I totally disagree with you.
When you discuss him having no talent, please remember how many seasons of Idol and the Voice episodes there have been and there are only about 6 people who have been successful: Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, J Hud, Katherine Mc Phee to some extent, Daughtry and Adam. That is a small group from a large pool that all had a shot with the great exposure on TV. Adam isn't a Freddie, but he is still trucking along doing many different kinds of things in the music industry. The movie he voiced over is now at the theaters. He is a success whether or not you think so. I could care less about charts and where his numbers are. He is being sought after for TV, a movie, interviews and will be touring with his own music and Queen's. How in the world is that not successful?? Most singers would love to so unsuccessful!!!
Adam is mainly relevant due to Queen exposing him to there massive audiences but on his own he would never get a Las Vegas residency because Queen got that and Lambert tagged along with them.
When Queen disband then Adam will have it so tough, i mean Queen are just to say keeping his head above water playing with them but his solo stuff has been badly received.
Charts are important ask any artist it lets people know if the record is selling and Lambo has flopped again over here .
7 singles released and not one in the British charts !

Well said.
I think a person or two here forget that they actually post on a Queen board.
Long may King Mercury reign and he will still be talked about in 100 years time !
