Other folk on here make spelling mistakes but that is never picked up though is it?
Just me because of a slip of a finger or two on my keyboard and i get slated for it, so unfair,

Well, if you weren't such an abrasive character to begin with - you'd maybe solicit less hostility. You could turn over a new leaf, but you probably won't.

Aside from your many spelling mistakes - which include basic literacy errors; "your" in place of "you're", "their", "there" and "they're" in all the wrong places etc, there is ONE key aspect of your written work that beggars belief:
Your absolute inability to locate and hit the comma, colon, semi-colon and hyphen keys for whole paragraphs at a time.

@ Brenski This is not a school or university and spelling mistakes are not usually mentioned on here because it is just a casual drop in site for people
who admire Queen ( not to sure why you are here though?) If yo are so perfect in your life then why come on this site for then?

Queen used to be my favourite band. I still am a huge fan. But they're not the b-all and end-all of music, and certainly not infallible (by a long chalk). I come here to talk music with like-minded people with a common interest, and there's the added bonus of daily amusement - where your banal utterances pervade (otherwise) intelligent airspace.

That will do me and dismiss the crap of U2 AC/DC Oasis etc.......
Many of the rock and pop artists are jealous of Queen and that is why many never talk about them.

your views extend well beyond zealotry. liking/loving anything - not just a band does not demand worship/sychophancy. Intelligent adult human beings should be able to discern (objectively) the good and not so good in things - particularly music, books, films and other art forms.

your inability to see anything but perfection in everything Queen did shows a lacking, that has undoubtedly held you back for some time.

you are honestly 100% sure that the world agrees with you? 7 billion people all think Queen are the greatest band ever? utter tosh.

for long periods of my life Queen have been my favourite band, but they're NOT the greatest. I like to think that my own objectivity allows me to accept that the Beatles and Zeppelin were greater bands.

You take your own opinions as gospel and that is fair enough but i have seen loads of polls and Queen are always way ahead of the Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin....
The Beatles were not even together for ten years and only a glorified boy band at the beginning, there true constructive peak was near towards the end anyway.
The fact is if Queen never had Freddie on board then there would never have been a band like Queen in the first place, he was the most intelligent member of the band for everything really, looks, direction of music, outfits and designing the Queen crest. I think he did leave Brian quite jealous at one point!
Again Freddie blew all the acts off the Live Aid stage in 1985 because he was the greatest performer of all time.
Even Elton said to Fred after the performance " You bastard you stole the show"
He was right Freddie could out do anyone easily.

Anyone with the slightest sense of self-realization would be able to take a step back and at least entertain this for a moment.

But it's best not to waste belief in human potential on those whom such ideas are lost on.

The Beatles had 4 and 8 track technology to work with, while Queen had 16 and 24. But despite their technological limitations, Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road still stand up against any of Queen's best material.

The Beatles are the most important entertainers of the last century, and wrote the book for virtually everyone who came after them - in terms of songwriting, conceptualizing, blending genres, fashion, and countless other aspects of both music and life. And the first two Led Zeppelin albums were the blueprint for the next several decades of what rock music would become. Regardless of one's personal tastes, these are basic facts that literally every music historian worth their salt agrees on.

But a music historian you are not. Of course none of this makes sense to you because it doesn't align with your dogmatic views of Queen, so I'll speak in a language you seem to understand - aligning your personal views with the public's: the US sales of Led Zeppelin IV outweigh the worldwide sales of any single Queen album.
