I do speak, read and write excellent German, Runner, as I lived there off and on for quite a while. I also studied it at the University. I can give you more of that if you have trouble with English! That version of IWBTLY is awesome! I have just listened to it twice and I sure wish he would sing it in North America, as it is one of my favorites. The power and clarity of his voice is absolutely wonderful. His voice gets better every time I hear it and it sure sounds like the audience is enjoying it also. That one really high note towards the end is kind of the cherry on the top. Magnificent in every way. The acoustics in Japan are always extraordinary. It is almost like sitting there in the audience and boy, do I wish I had been!!

You might take your own advice. Singers change up melodies, tempos and sing it their way and that is one of Adam's talents. He isn't Freddie and won't sing it like Freddie and that is why Roger and Brian wanted him as their lead singer. They were not interested in some clone. It is new and fresh and that voice will blast you out of the stadium. I have experienced it many times and you have not. Your opinion has no basis in fact. Taped videos can only tell so much, not the whole story and that voice is extremely powerful, like an opera singer! Go on dreaming and hope it is so.
