I am not hyping him. This is the show from last night I originally referenced and it is my opinion, which I can share here on the QAL thread. I can start bringing over tweets and instagram posts and newspaper reviews and hundreds of "spam" that references the majesty of Adam's voice. I am sure Caroline would be happy to help! Almost every tweet or review talks about Adam's voice and if they haven't heard it before, the posters are always surprised and mention how strong and powerful it is. It is not just my opinion .I can start bringing a ton of things over. It is not hyping, it is the honest to gosh truth. I have heard opera singers and many, many rock groups and heavy metal singers over the years. Adam can belt most of those people out of the stadium. I have had my butt in a seat in the audience and listened, unlike you and Runner who haven't experienced that, nor all the other singers I have heard live over the years! In my experience and my opinion, you two don't have a clue as to what what you are talking about. It is all based on your own dislike. As far as Freddie, I have never heard Freddie sing live, so I can't venture an opinion. Freddie wasn't singing last night in Japan, so why would I talk about him? I just don't get your fixation about bringing Freddie into everything. If I wished to post about him, it wouldn't be here on this part of the forum. The world does not revolve around Freddie. There are two other members still performing and I prefer to concentrate on what they are doing now. You can concentrate on the past. But I am really tired of your hyping remarks,

Blah, blah. I think you forget that you post on a Queen board to begin with. You truly want this subforum to be the next adamtopia.
Yespecially Freddie still can be discussed here even though he passed away and wasn't singing last night. I know you can't be bothered about the history of Freddie, not even bothering you loo, up which songs he wrote, and then you have the fkn nerve to hype up AL here. Just wow.
You are babbling away like a lunatic here.
I'm tired of your bullshit. It's coming from your fingers.
I didn’t know we were supposed to praise Freddie in this QAL discussion...
I agree with snifflese: That version of IWBTLY is awesome! It’s also interesting to see the development of the song from 2014 over 2016 to 2020. I‘ve listened to the 2014 version so often, that it really hit me, how Adam‘s voice has indeed changed. Its a bit lower/fuller and much stronger in my opinion. Very interesting to compare.
Still, the performance wasn’t perfect. It has been the first time in 3,5 years that they have played the song and the band wasn‘t playing it as tight as the rest. Naturally. I still hope, that they will play it for once at the European tour and not only in Japan!

Freddie can be discussed even in here, and why hasn't snifflese said anything about how good Freddie was live? That's the points I'm making. Oh she hasn't seen Freddie live, so I guess she has no thought about Freddie's live performances, even though many of them can be watched...and discussed in Queen boards, at least some of us can do that.
That is also what I noticed when I saw QAL in August in Boston (Mansfield). I have always loved Adam's voice, but his lower register was a little wobbly early on and it was so high sometimes that it didn't sound as powerful. One of the discussions by an opera teacher that I read, talked about how age lowers and thus deepens a voice as a male grows older. Since Adam's voice was so high originally, it really seems to have tempered it and the beauty and clarity of his voice just shines through now. It adds a different note to the timbre of his voice and there is a richness and more colors to his tone when he sings. He can still sing as high and hit those notes resoundingly, but it sounds much better. It is a more pleasing tone at this point in his life, as initially it could almost sound too high and a bit brittle. There is a nice roundness to his tone which wasn't there before. That is why I think his voice is much more beautiful and stronger than it was 10 years ago. His first QAL concert in KIEV had lots of vocal deficiencies, but his voice seems to be improving with age, just like they say about fine wine. He is a much improved singer since 2012 and I am sure once they perform IWBTLY a few more times, it will become tighter. But they seldom play it unlike all the others which are ingrained into their musical psyche by now. it needs to become a staple in the show. I enjoyed the progression in the above videos. I imagine we would see the same in many of the other songs, esp. the heavier rock, which were not my favorites, originally. I still think things like SCC are not as strong as the ballads, but definitely better than years ago.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ I slept after the second sentence. Utter drivel
Icy, then go ahead and discuss Freddie and have a discussion somewhere else on the boards. I haven't ever heard you discuss anything except telling SC not to do something or calling me out. You never have anything to add other than complaining and whining. Start discussing! I haven't seen Freddie live, so I can't do it! I can only talk about something I have heard live for the most part.
What I have always loved about Adam is his diction. Adam and Tina Turner. I would say Freddie had pretty good diction, too! Wink! Wink!

Why in the world did someone start posting today in the Australia/New Zealand thread from 2017? I posted this there accidentally — a great fan poster for Tokyo One: 2020:

I bumped it to prove snifflese always had an agenda about me because of you. From her first post she made here, and she still stands by it.
By the way, that poster is tacky as hell. I don't know why you even bother bringing those crappy posters here.

To be blunt, get the fuck out of here. You havery offered nothing other than rage at me and blind defense of SweetCaroline in your time here. You are telling me to go post about Freddie, when you canturn be bothered to post outside of here. You don't own these threads or this subforum. Hate to break that to you. Rsget and deflect on me all you want, you look like you have much of a screw loone as SweetCaroline does. Your hypocrisy and rage is through the roof once again.
Right, Icy, I am raging all right! Can't you tell? I think the only one with her panties in a wad is you. I am not raging, I am merely telling you what I see and why I think the way I do. There is no rage at all. I have no clue why you keep saying that. I don't think I have ever been in a rage, but it sounds like you are constantly in some kind of a state as you are always mad. You keep telling me to go post on other parts of this forum. I don't want to. Why do I have to? I am not the one with the Freddie fixation. I only want to post here in this part of the forum since I enjoy QAL and have seen them each time they have toured and you keep all of us from doing that. Today I posted about a song in the Japan concert last night and you immediately fall back on I need to talk about Freddie, and Adam is riding his coattails and I am hyping. What does that bring to the conversation? Nothing and that is what you bring to all conversations on here. The only loose screws are rattling around around in your head! I am also not hypocritical. I told you why I first posted here and nothing has changed in that regard, now there are two of you! You seem to think you are some paragon of virtue because you are a major Freddie fan, but all you do is make him and you look bad. If you are an example of die hard Freddie fans, I want no part of that and that is a good reason for me to never venture outside the QAL subforum. You constantly make fun of Glamberts, but I have never seen them behave the way you and Runner do. They are usually pretty nice and welcoming. That would be the last thing I could ever say about QZ.
