Please use the correct terminology when you talk about the characters - it's not "Poochie", it's "Vice Admiral Gender Studies".

I like that name. If all the evil Star Wars characters suffer from nominative determinism, so should the good guys.

If you like flashy images, and pew pews, you will love this movie. [/QUOTE]
Star Wars wouldn't be Star Wars without the pew pew .

The pew pews were always just a TINY part of every Star Wars movie (until the prequels). Now it's almost ONLY action. The only scenes which I liked in TROS were actually character scenes, like scenes between Kylo and Rey, or Kylo and you-know-who-but-I-don't-want-to-spoil-it. I don't know why, but in the original trilogy I found the action exciting, I still do, decades later. In the Disney films I find the action boring (even though it started during the prequels).

^ Yeah, it's all inconsequential bullshit with people who are generally on some useless task because there's no story that impresses circumstances upon them.
Just mindless eye fuck nonsense.
One good thing about the sequels was the fact they went back to some organic effects.
Even if the fights were ill thought /pointless and choreography really bad

It was a joke. I don't often get the chance to use the words pew pew in a sentence. I also prefer action sequences to be balanced out with scenes of character development and expository dialogue. Sadly, CGI action sequences are what young people prefer these days, having grown up on video games. In the 1970s an action movie had a kind of formula of an action scene every 15 minutes. If you don't believe me watch Don Siegel's Dirty Harry which set the trend. Now, due to limited attention spans, these kind of movies tend to have action scenes much more frequently, and that;s why many of them are unwatchable for me.
