This is completely unacceptable in a Democratic nation:
“BREAKING: New recording of Trump proves he wanted Yovanovitch fired. Trump said on tape: "Get rid of her! Get her out tomorrow. I don't care. Get her out tomorrow. Take her out. Okay? Do it." Trump is a mobster. This is ridiculous. The Senate needs to remove him immediately.”
[/QUOTE]
A mobster is exactly what Trump's behaviour reminds me of. An orange Tony Soprano.

I'm trying to understand where's the problem. Does the US president not have the right to hire and fire ambassadors at will? Because wikipedia claims he can, so... What's the problem again?

It's Trump. Any excuse for her to rant and rage about him, she will do so.

pitttek, “Take her out” is not something I have heard from other American presidents in the past. He may have a lot of money (even that has been debatable since he refuses to show his tax records), but without a doubt he has zero class! There are other ways to communicate that someone should resign or be fired.
I would like to see HIM “taken out!”

I still don't get it - so your problem is that he's being kind of rude? Wouldn't it be more surprising if he was polite? I mean people know him for decades

Wow, you have just made your feelings about Trump even clearer. You want him "taken out". By which means do you want him taken out?
No doubt you hate the guy. I think you should stop this thread right here, all it is, is your posts from you complaining, stamping your feet in a tantrum, and your conspiracies. I'm sure if someone said they wanted Hilary or Obama taken out, you'd be upset about that.

Actually, I think Obama is Trump’s secret hero because he hasn’t posted a nickname for him — or Vladimir!
Crooked Hillary, low energy Jeb, lyin Ted, little Marco, sleepy Joe, pocohontas Elizabeth, crazy Bernie, nervous Nancy! That’s how he covers up his inferiority complex by demeaning others to make himself look big.
I just want to be able to celebrate on Election night 2020 again like I did in 2008 and 2012 and that this long national (international?) nightmare will finally be over!

A lot of us waited 8 long, tedious years to be finally free of Papa & Mama Obama, before we could relish and delight in the election of President Trump. Is he abrasive? Yes, he is. Do I wish he would "lose" his Twitter access? Undoubtably! Other than those two things, he is doing absolutely marvelously AND, if the House votes for impeachment but it fails in the Senate - guess what, Sweet Caroline, he would be eligible for *2* more terms of office. That would be awesomeness of magnificent (almost reaching QAL level of magnificence) proportions. Woo Hoo!!

You are almost as bad as SC.
Trump cannot run for two more terms, just like Bill Clinton could not run for two more terms after he was impeached but not convicted.
2 more terms, God help us! Who is going to fix the out of control debt they are racking up with the tax cuts for the wealthy? Oh yes they are going to cut Medicare and Social Security!

Why so "concerned" and "outraged". It doesn't affect you, remember.

You are unbelievably ignorant. You blindly believe anything. I am guessing you are unfamiliar with Snopes, and could not bothered with learning anything by clicking on the Snopes link. Snopes is marvelous and wonderful and allegedly has a slight liberal bias.
Trump cannot run for two more terms, just as Bill Clinton could not run for two more terms when he was impeached.
Again, here is the Snopes link from my previous post:

SC, you claim to know so much, but actually know f-all about your own country and it's Governing rules. the utter crap you come out with is shameful, and it's a good job most of your countrymen/women are not as ignorant as you - LTLSihls being an exception who clearly knows f-all too.
Even we overseas are aware of the 22nd amendment rule which states "no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.”
whether his first term is nullified (or not) he was still elected, so cannot be elected twice more.
You're both idiots that get all of your information from twitter. go away.

I would love to read SweetCaroline's response to this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0JLwv_1m68

pitttek, I can’t bring up that video. If you post it again and drop the “s” from the “https” I might be able to see it.
BrENsKi, of course as an American I am well aware that presidents are only allowed 2 terms. I was being facetious when I said God help us if Trump would get 2 more terms. God help us if he gets one more term after the mess he has made already!
