I didn't get it from Snopes - or whatever you call it. We do have news channels over here you know - and this subject comes up every time a president stands a second time.

If Trump gets a second term, and he probably will, he is going to bankrupt the US Treasury! I just heard that he charges the Secret Service and others who are required to travel with him $546 per night at Mar-a-Lago! So he IS making lots of money off his presidency and he was calling Hillary crooked! I was having a fit about paying $128.95 at La Quinta in Orlando!

You missed the main point of the video. The ONLY candidate who Trump respected in 2016 and appeared to be nervous from him was Sanders. We now have a recording from 2018 where he admits (when he doesn't know he's recorded) that Sanders is the only one who made him nervous, and that he WANTS Biden to run. In 2019 he politely asked the Ukrainian president if he could check what's going on with Biden's corruption. In late 2019/early 2020 "democrats" claim that he did it to get dirt on his political rival. Why would he do that? Biden running is a good thing for Trump, if Biden will be the nominee, Trump will have an easy win.

So a guy who doesn't like Trump claims without evidence that there was quid pro quo, so? Since the last year when I first read about this I was trying to make some sense into this. It would make sense only if Trump was afraid of Biden, which he clearly wasn't. So I'm still waiting that somebody shows some evidence. It has been months, Trump has already been impeached and still no evidence. Just a lot of claims and assumptions

John Bolton, the National Security Adviser was the direct contact with Trump to whom Trump told in August after the July 25 phone call that he would not give Ukraine the funds they needed until they investigate Biden.
It worked in 2016. Trump spread so much crap about Hillary regarding her friggin e-mails and now he is doing the same thing about Biden.
And the irony is that HE is NOT Saint Donald with possible mob ties, especially the Russian mob. We don’t know the half of what HE is hiding from the world.

i've never professed to have any great knowledge of American language or politics (politics, certainly more than you and SC). Why would I? I live in the UK.
perhaps YOU failed to notice idiot, that I took the most common meaning of Nimrod - capitalised or otherwise. America accounts for less than 1/10th of the world population that may be aware of nimrod/Nimrod. Of that I'd say that even less again actually use it as an insult. Whatever, your American slang might be, the most common worldwide knowledge of Nimrod will be the Old Testament character.
