Think it's you who can't understand much about the voice from that comment. Adam is a high tenor, of course his very low notes won't be as resonant as a low/tenor, baritenor (bit of debate about which Freddie was) that's obvious, that's nothing to do with power.

I am sure some of the world's greatest tenors would love your remarks about high voices and power! Adam can hit those notes with the same power they do and no one ever talks about operatic tenor voices being weak. Sit in an arena where Adam is singing and then you might have an opinion. Hearing low end recordings from a phone on top of band music and fans screaming makes Adam's voice really hard to judge on a live stream or a you tube. Adam's voice can cut through an entire arena and it is such a resonant sound. Can't you people understand that Adam does not have the same baritone voice as Freddie so he isn't going to sound the same as Freddie in a lower register? Where he excels is that mid-range and the upper range which very few singers in the world right now can match. Comparing him to Freddie's voice is useless. They don't sound or sing the same way, so they aren't ever going to sound the same! You don't like it fine, but that doesn't mean it is weak or paper thin or like a dog whistle or any of the nonsense you are always spouting. Cut the bigging up out!! Some prefer one kind of voice to another. I don't like voices like PR's, but it doesn't mean that it isn't a very good voice or that others can't enjoy it. Freddie's voice has nothing to do with my appreciating Adam's voice and I don't understand why Freddie is part of every equation around here. Nothing is being destroyed, the original recordings are there forever as are all the live DVD's and recordings. Freddie's legacy is safe and well and that won't change, Adam is simply giving fans the opportunity to see 1/2 the band live and sing along to some of the best music ever created, really hard to see a downside to that from where I'm looking.

Of course you don't understand why about Freddie, be honest you don't understand why he is still remembered and admired. ^^^ Maybe, and I'm just making a guess here, it's because this is the QAL part of the forum to discuss the current line up, pretty sure there'd be a ton of complaints if we went to the serious/general part of the forum to do nothing but compare Adam to Freddie and post derogatory comments about Freddie constantly. Nothing to do with rules and everything to do with having respect for other people instead of completely derailing every thread with rubbish. It's not against the rules to discuss Adam in the serious/general part of the forum either but it would completely destroy each topic and end up in a bitchfest, why would anyone deliberately want to cause that kind of crap.
