Nothing to do with rules and everything to do with having respect for other people instead of completely derailing every thread with rubbish. It's not against the rules to discuss Adam in the serious/general part of the forum either but it would completely destroy each topic and end up in a bitchfest, why would anyone deliberately want to cause that kind of crap. No idea why people can't live and let live and leave people to enjoy whatever the like.

Hate to tell you, when Freddie is discussed, it's not rubbish. What is rubbish the two Glamberts harpys that come here and somehow are so insulted when Freddie is mentioned in these threads. He can be discussed, even in these threads, and he will be discussed. What would people rather discuss, how AL smells how good lookng, sexy, AL is on a Queen board?

Well the few on here who constantly want to screw up the threads will no doubt keep on comparing Adam to Freddie and bringing up all sorts of inane ramblings about his albums, solo music, rock voice and any other thing they can find to bitch about and they'll get push back and in another few years the same shit will have been repeated over and over ad nauseam like it has since 2012, do you not see how pathetic that actually is.

Some people have valid points on every side.
What I find pathetic is the people that come here to spam and big up AL on Queen boards, while not even bothering to learn or discuss Freddie with Queen. That's disrespectful right there.

The two projects are completely separate and you don't have to be a Queen fan to enjoy QAL, there's nothing disrespectful about enjoying one or the other or both and there's no reason everyone should want to learn about Freddie and/or Queen, some people just enjoy music for the sake of it and don't care about the rest.

Nope, history is very important and I keep up with everything new, (huge political junkie) but I am not going back to study old history at this point. There is too much that is new. However, If I have a question about a current event and need info about its past, I read up on that. I often need to look up something to see how it relates or caused an event or movement currently. I do that all the time. But I can enjoy Queen's music w/o a history lesson. Reading history that relates to important issues going on in the world today doesn't include Queen's past history for me. I don't have time for everything and it isn't necessary. I wish you would quit harping on that. AS RC told you and I have told you hundreds of times by now, this is the QAL section , not necessarily the Queen thread. The A in QAL stand for ADAM and so he can be discussed by himself or as he relates to Brian and Roger. Chat about Freddie on the real Queen threads and maybe that would make you happier. I can choose what to discuss on here, the QAL thread, and it doesn't have to include Freddie. There are enough arguments on here without the Adam fans bringing Freddie into things.

How silly this Freddie/Adam debate always is. If Freddie was still alive and was on the outs with Brian and Roger and for some unbelievable and incomprehensible reason they wanted to tour with Adam instead of Freddie, then you idiots would have the right to bitch about it. But Freddie isn’t here and those 75,000 people at the Fire Fight Australia charity benefit in Sydney were thrilled that they could be part of that Live Aid re-enactment last Sunday. It is 2020 and still being able to watch these guys perform live is magical, spectacular and a beautiful thing!

Every post is a complaint about something. If you want to discuss Freddie constantly, the Queen threads or a Freddie thread would be the most logical place. What is it that you don't understand about that concept? I am not insecure about Adam. I don't even understand that remark. I am abiding by the rules of the forum and just discussing QAL here. I don't understand your problem. I don't want to discuss Queen and Freddie somewhere else. I do not have the extensive knowledge some of you do, nor am I going to read up on it. I enjoy QAL just fine without that.
I also don't get how stating the fact that Freddie is long gone, unfortunately, is somehow gloating. Can't you just accept the fact that some of us might actually like to talk about the tour and individual shows and songs and you make it impossible with your constant criticisms of everybody here and everything related to Adam. It gets really, really tiring and then you blame it on us. How do we relate Freddie to the last show for example? I don't understand your mind set at all. There are other things to focus on than just Freddie since he isn't up there singing in Australia and I am truly not gloating. It is just the simple fact of the matter.
