Big difference in what Freddie said during Queen shows, and what AL says during Q+AL shows, Freddie said it during the concerts that he played a big role in., you know own his and Queen's music. Q+AL shows aren't Adam solo shows and not his music he's singing most of the the time.
And here's the problem right there - QAL is not Queen, Adam is not a replacement Freddie, this is a collaboration and he has as much right to do what he likes on stage as Freddie did originally, these are completely different shows in a completely different time and have nothing to do with each other.
As to that clip on facebook, so what, it's his silly tongue in cheek stuff he does on stage, I've never seen one comment about it on social media from people at the shows, people get him in the first fifteen minutes when they see him live, they know it's all done in fun and not to be taken serious, can't believe people are getting het up about a bloody song. Agan he's not Freddie, not there to be like Freddie and doesn't have to adhere to any preconceived notion of what Freddie would do with any given song, no idea why people can't just let the guy be himself.
I'm aware AL hasn't replaced Freddie...he never could, no matter what he does or will do.
I don't look at Q+AL as a collaboration. Someone pointed out AL is a hired hand, that sums it up, in my opinion. Wow, he suggested WLL instead of another Queen song. Whoopee. He picked out co.or schemes, whoopee.
What AL did in that clip, sorry the time and place was very off to do it during that song. He did to appeal to his fans, likely knowing they'd be all over it, and some were going by the comments.
Somebody To Love isn't a bloody song, it's so much more than that. How many AL fans would like it if another performer did that while covering Feel Something? There is a time and place for such antics, this time and place was hardly appropriate.
It's a collaboration, B & R have called it that, they don't consider Adam a hired hand in the slightest and anyone seeing their relationship would know it's far more than that, you can think of it that way if it makes you sleep better but it won't make it true.
Have you even seen Freddie perform at all? Jeez the stuff Freddie did on stage, pretty sure he and the fans who saw him wouldn't give a damn about the stuff Adam does, so he did a pelvic thrust on a song, hold the front page lol. There's no time and place when it comes to performing on tour in a venue, you'd have a point if it were a televised event or on a promo show but it's a tour, anything goes on tour and if the fans had a problem there'd be tons of complaints (there isn't) not even one that I've seen, seems most people don't see it the way you do. You're entitled to not like it but it won't change what they do, if B & R don't have a problem with what he does (and they clearly don't) and the fans seemingly don't either then he's fine doing whatever he feels like. If he goes too far I'm sure B & R or the fans will be all over it.
As to what another artist might do when covering one of Adam's songs I couldn't care less, it's a song, it means something to Adam and his singing and interpretation of it means something to the fans, anyone else is just doing a cover and that's for them to interpret it how they like, I'd either like it or I wouldn't but I really wouldn't have a problem with how they chose to perform it.
AL says himself he's a guest.
You are asking me if I've seen Freddie perform at all? Yea, I have countless times. I know what he did...while singing his and Queen's music at Queen concerts. I couldn't imagine Freddie hip thrusting during certain songs, with Queen and solo wise.
What AL does at times while singing Queen songs, again time and place. Somebody To Love and hip thrusting isn't the place at all to do it. It's another cheap antic and gimmick.

Pretty sure Freddie's estate don't dictate what QAL do on tour. Clearly B & R don't treat him as a paid employee regardless of that being the case, they treat him as a band member and make decisions togther, they don't dictate what he does and they don't tell him how to perform or sing the songs, that should be pretty obvious and not really need saying.
There’s another full circle moment — Christopher Lambert in the Highlander movie with the song Who Wants To Live Forever that has been sung so beautifully now for 8 years by Adam Lambert.

They don’t care about the meaning. If they did, they’d be outraged that Adam covers more music than he’s released. The only thing that matters to the Adam Worshippers is Adam’s voice. He calls himself a guest singer but in terms of the touring he fully collaborates with them.
What Freddie chose to do in the songs was up to him and what Adam does is equally up to him, they have their own style of performing and Adam is there as himself, anyone not liking it is free to not watch, that's how shows usually work.

Brian would be sipping tea in his garden without Adam. Roger would be womanizing in Miami without Adam. Of course they let him do what he likes. But then again, how do you know what goes on behind the scenes? Do you know what Brian and Roger have told Adam no about if he asked if they could do certain things? Nope.
Adam’s an employee. A temporary one at that.

Bollocks. Adam's fans are far more respectful to B & R than some supposed Queen fans, especially a few on here.
The songs aren't all Freddie's by any means and all four were involved in making the music not just Freddie.
Your comment about covering songs and more than he's released makes no sense, they're two separate projects and have nothing to do with each other and no they wouldn't be outraged, nothing to be outraged about.

Of course you respect them, but that’s because Adam is performing with them!
If Adam left to do his own thing, and Paul Rodgers came back into the picture, or another singer, I very much doubt you’d be attending Queen concerts or even watching videos of them. So yes, Brian and Roger are disposable to you.
