ST16 wrote:@Brenski Firstly i was not putting my point across as an argument because on this thread it is just a serious discussion.
Age may be one thing but health wise Brian is not really a well man, he suffered that prostate scare 3 to 4 years ago and his knee operation a while back, and so with that in mind he should really stop been greedy with touring a chill out.
i've removed your comment about Lambert from my reply - as it's not relevant as to whether or not Brian is healthy enough to tour.
Artists have to have insurance to take on a tour - this covers things like compensation for sponsors etc if the tour is cancelled.
To get such insurance, artists have to have medicals. Brian and Roger will have passed their medicals - being declared fit to tour. and, 180 gigs over 7 years (25 per year) while traveling and staying in luxury is not that arduous.
A "prostate scare" doesn't equate to actually being ill. a scare is a scare, touring won't increase the likelihood of another prostate scare, will it? and it certainly won't increase the likelihood of an actual illness.
In fact, it's been medically proven that staying fit and active into old age can help to lower your risk of developing - or help you manage -
>> coronary heart disease
>> stroke
>> Type 2 diabetes
>> some types of cancer
>> obesity
>> arthritis.
It can also reduce the risk of depression, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
so if it's his health you're worried about (which it clearly isn't), then there's no need to.
truth is, like every discussion, (for you and one or two others) it's really about nothing more than Adam Lambert. You'd be less false if you dropped the pretence and didn't bother typing all that stuff about his health.

He’s clearly disappointed with the way he reacted. Most celebrities wouldn’t bother addressing it or expressing that regret. We shouldn’t expect perfection from him, especially after a fairly long flight across time zones, arriving in a hot and stuffy environment at the tail end of a long tour.
Of course he overreacted but the man is only human and the guy with the camera behaved badly as well.

@Brenski what do you mean you have removed my comment, because you do not have the right to do such a thing on here that is out of order.

I'm shocked reading from another poster here that Brian told fans to f off. I'm no prude, but I doubt those fans were breaking laws, maybe they were just hoping for an autograph.
Not the first time I heard this. He is a moody guy. SOmeone told me he asked about Queen during one of his solo tours and he was very unfriendly telling the guy he is not here with Queen. What a dick

i removed the last sentence of your comment from my post - when I quoted you. if you'd checked my post you'd see this.
and yes I do have a right. this is how "reply with quote" works, it allows you to reply to any part of a post - without the need to re-post anything that isn't being replied to.

@ Brenski What is the point quoting me when the original is already on this page?

Australia is home to some of the most dangerous creatures on earth. The great white shark, crocodiles, spiders, snakes ... now we can add Large White Poodle to the list.
Boom boom.

the point of the quote facility is to show who and what exactly is being replied to - it's particularly useful where the post being replied to is not immediately above the reply.
it's got nothing to do with "playing god" and I have no idea why you think that. this is how discussion works. one person makes a point, another counters.
but since you mention it, first you referred to Brian's age:
ST16 wrote:Brian is simply doing too much for a 72 year old man,.
then you referred to Brian's health:
ST16 wrote:but health wise Brian is not really a well man, he suffered that prostate scare 3 to 4 years ago and his knee operation a while back,
I replied to BOTH points clarifying why i felt these were not real concerns. your posts BOTH contained disparaging comments about Lambert, but failed to address my replies. this proves your "age" and "health" comments were no less than smokescreens for your anti-Lambert hate. Honesty works better than dressing your comments in a veil of "Brian concern".

well, surely if there were "karma" at work and Brian had made Freddie look a fool", then the tour would not sell, and Brian would be forced to retire...wouldn't that (in runner_70 and Gerry world) be how true karma would manifest?
Fact: he didn't. there wasn't. it did. he hasn't. and YOU BOTH still hate him.

I do not hate him. Just dont like him. Big difference.
You obviously did not understand what karma meant in this context. He made Freddie look like a fool in the movie and now he looks like a big fool himself. Got it now?
