I'm not a Lambert fan, but this was great. Well done.

"Disgusting that May & Taylor can destroy Queen's epic Live Aid performance by now doing the same set in Australia with that fat freak Lambert."
well now I'm just confused - I called him fat the other day but was completely kidding. Did I stumble on something here??
Also how are they destroying the original? I'm pretty sure you can still watch it on YouTube or like a DVD if you're into that.

Who the hell does May think he is patronising all us Queen fans.?

These sort of comments shit me to no end. I'm an Australian and our country has been hit fucken hard by fires this season. Who the fuck cares what they played as it was for charity and us people down here appreciated the effort by all the acts.
What did you do? Sweet fuck all I bet so go and shove your fucken hate comments up your arse and not in our faces!

Well, i have watched it.. and they were damn good.
You can critize the lights for being too yellow if you like them to be red. But the lights were damn good.

It took some nerve to play the Live Aid set but they did it faultlessly - no mistakes or problems in the performance.

wow Gerry! you've completely failed to understand what happened. what better way to help the Fire Aid charity than to perform as per Live Aid.
It was helping to raise $7m for those who have have lost family/friends/homes/businesses in months of bush fires.
there was nothing patronising about the performance.
this is perhaps ONE thread where an anti-May/Taylor/Lambert comment really doesn't belong.
yep. this ^ agreed completely. sadly, those who post these kind of comments, do so almost immune to any moderation, completely offensive comments like that are permitted - and by default, almost encouraged. even sadder, though these comments are frequently challenged, seldom does an offender retract any of it. this is because - unfortunately, those who make these comments only ever have one anti-May/Taylor/Lambert agenda - and nothing ever gets in the way of their hostility...haters gonna hate!
fortunately, that comment (and similar others (above)) are not typical of Queen fans. most of us are not like that! we wish you well, and truly hope that Australia recovers from this catastrophe soon. if i believed in God, then you would be in my prayers.

Having watched it I dare to say they were very very good, also I liked for first time Adam vocals on Bohemian Rhapsody, I have seen them live and I can tell Adam has better voice than what is on YouTube. But the Bohemian Rhaspody version is for me the reason why they choose him. Back in 2015 I liked his voice on Stone cold crazy, Save me and Who wants to live forever.
I am not a fan of him, but my opinion about him is the above. The guy needs tostoo be kitsc, put this passion (like he did on Bohemian rhapsody) , better songs and to find his style, otherwise he will be remembered as a reality TV singer who had some minor career.

Instead of displaying your hatred for this band and its members try looking at the bigger picture here. Try thinking about what the event was, what they and the other artists were there to achieve.
When you've done that think about the audience reaction in the stadium. I take it you watched it since you've commented on it. If you did you will have noticed the Freddie fan in the audience, with the full Freddie look, isn't it interesting that a genuine Freddie (Queen fan) was so into it yet another (you) and people like runner_70 hate every step they take.
They played their set brilliantly, seemingly faultlessly, they achieved what the event set out to do, yet your stand out remarks are that Lambert is fat and Brian May is patronising.

Sure it was a worthwhile event but doing the Live Aid set was patronising towards Freddie, its as if Brian is hoping Adam can steal the show like Freddie did back in 1985
which is an absolute joke and he is comparing Adam to Freddie by doing the same set of songs.
Queen and fat boy were not the only artists there you know others were there too and so if Queen had not attended they would have still got the money.
I have lost a lot of respect towards Brian because he is a manipulative user wanting the cameras on him when he has something to promote other wise he rants and stamps his feet,
hardly an adult thing to do is it?
Lets face it Freddie stole the show as always and Adam is well just Adam.

sorry, Gerry - you're wrong on this: 100%.
You have no idea what Brian's thought process is. It could well be "anti-Freddie", it could (more likely) be "doing whatever they can to help" - you know? just like with Live Aid.
you need to get over your Brian/Adam hate and see the bigger picture. They did something really good here - without any prompting, pushing or cajoling (unlike Freddie's initial reaction to Queen's Live Aid invitation).
