If you sign up to queenchat, you can actually create group private messages for this type of chat, it might be something for you to think about as it's basically a private chat thread.
You'd all be able to stay in touch in a way that's similar to this thread but off the main boards so you wouldn't get trolled or have to ask permission. This is what the private chat was created for.

On the new Queen Discussion Forum, Wizard posted a link for web.archive.org that has captured a lot of those threads. I was able to look at some of the older posts, but not the most recent ones...that could be user error on my part though. Thank you, Wizard!

MHZ...Eddie's guitar solo is amazing. His tapping style is a wonder to behold! It's always so sad when an icon passes. I still have my one Van Halen album, "Women & Children First". I chuckled when I read that you still have your Sony Walkman. Years ago, I always used a Walkman when roller skating outdoors, My favorite roller skating cassette...don't laugh...the soundtrack from Top Gun!
I am really happy for Brian, Roger, and Adam that their new album is now number 1 in the UK and Australia. Glad I ordered the cassette when I did as it is now sold out. Would love to have ordered the signed CD/cassette combo, but it was only available in the UK...you folks are lucky! :) The combo package sold out quickly as well, but they only had 1,000 copies.

'Verbal' attacks, swearing, sexually-themed insults, and physical threats aimed at anyone who does not agree with you does not endear you to anyone, and is appalling, inexcusable behaviour.
