Lamebirds voice work with nothing from the Queen catalogue. He is a robotic screamer of high notes and yodeling. Each time he is yoedling WATC to death with his annoying acrobatics I could slap him.
On rock songs he sounds like a whining school girl and it is evidenmt that he has no power at ll in his voice.
The ballads like WWTLF or Save Me (half ballad) sound lifeless as fuck with him on vocals. Especially those two. Where Freddie might not have been hitting the highest pitched vocals he made it more than up with his powerful delivery - Lamebird is completely lost with the Queen catalogue and tries to compensate with his lame stage antics and freaky clothes and glasses and hair. Too bad it makes him look even more than the sad twat he already is

I agree with you totally, Music Fan! There are all sorts of voices and Adam's fits the bill for a voice that can credibly sing the whole vast catalog. Some voices only work with the harder rock (PR) and some with the ballads and some not at all with the quirky songs. Adam can sing them all and do justice to everything, even if his voice is most suited to the ballads and the ones with an operatic flair. I like the idea of respecting Brian and Roger, which isn't in much evidence around here most of the time. They also created the music and music is their life. They should not have to give up their career and their passion. It isn't their fault that Freddie isn't here to sing at this point in time. I am sure they do this for love, not for money, as some of you keep pointing out! Way too many comments about Adam's voice for him not be a huge draw for the concerts. The musical work is super, as Brian is still near the top of his game, but no one will listen to a singer they dislike for two hours. People are coming out for Brian, Roger and ADAM even if that idea does not fit the QZ agenda.[/QUOTE]
