To make this forum great is very simple, as long we all agree to comply to certain principles.
1. Respond only to the argument the person is making. Under no circumstances resort to personal attacks, name calling, accusations of being Gerry or a troll etc.
2. Always adopt the intellectually honest position. How can you check that your position is intellectually honest? If you have to resort to fallacious argumentation such as ad hominem, non sequiturs, strawmaning, appeals to ignorance, appeals to popularity, special pleading etc. or if you have to deliberately confuse and obfuscate, you've almost certainly adopted the intellectually dishonest position.
3. Everybody's opinion is worthy of consideration even Gerry's or somebody who you think is a troll. An opinion should be rejected only if it can be shown to be based on stupidity, ignorance and fallacious reasoning.
That's all. If anybody would like to contribute he or she is welcome, even if you are Gerry or Brenski or a troll. Your opinion will be assessed on its contents, not on who you are, or who you are perceived to be.

I can't say I'm surprised by the lack of enthusiasm for what I've proposed here given that for many people here the ability to launch peronal attacks, name call and engage in intellecually dishonest, fallacious arguments is the something they perceive to be their God-given right.
The problems start when their "victim" fights back. Then suddenly they need a new forum, where THEY will be the moderators, the arbiters of what's allowed. However, then the problem for them will be finding people who will derive any value from posting in their fascistic utopia.
Anyway, as I've said before, I'm treating this place as a social experiment, a kind of holding up of a mirror to reflect the intellectual dishonesty and hypocrisy of many of the so called people here.

All I have to do is see your handle, the first few words of your posts, and then I move on, because it has no substance, and I've seen it all before. And I don't need to read any of the responses, because I know where they are coming from as well, whether they are clever or not.

The ideas could be good but the way how you expose is totally wrong. Try to not insult members and maybe you will be heard.

One way to make this forum great is
1, We should be able to block bullies.
2 . People who are Queenzone mafia should be banned and i am sure you know the three i am talking about!
3. Subjects to be discussed should be vetted before released on to the site.
