I know these superlatives tend to be popularity contests, but I think it's great that Brian's getting some accolades here. wish they'd have picked a different song than HTF though.. but hey, It'll sell some issues by interest, fame, fanship and/or controversy.

Better to keep these mags in PRINT!

Always knew Brian was the greatest guitarist of them all.
He slaughters jimmy page, and the rest.
His sound is unique and his style of playing is so much more superior than any other guitarist you can think of.
Congrats to Brian !

not taking anything away from Brian - just grounding your over-enthusiastic superlatives a little:
Atkins, Gary Moore, Gilmour, Blackmore, Freddy King, Beck, Scotty Moore, Rhoads, Lifeson, Sullivan, Prince, Scholz... the list is endless.
they're all as good as Brian for different reasons.

Gerry, your myopic approach to music limits you to only seeing 1% of the geniuses that are out there.

At least he isn't hating on Brian as a full time job anymore.

Progress?

I think it is very difficult to choose the best of all time in any field. But , I'm glad that they choose Brian.

It’s interesting how Bob refers to Brian May as “Brian”, but Freddie Mercury is usually ” Mercury”

I’m not sure how this got past the committee without further investigation Well actually I do know. Stepford hidden in plain sight here.

It’s interesting how I rock up here and repeatedly post the same old crap.

Firstly . Don’t edit my posts.

Secondly. Answer the point. Or show when it’s been made before. Why is it “Brian” and “Mercury” . The informal and familiar, versus formal and distant .Where has this observation been raised before. Did you notice . At least consider the point. Of course you never do.

Thirdly. Thanks for you answering the first post. You are very reliable for responding , if not to the actual point.

How is Belacheat doing?

How about that pervert, Robert Kraft?

Tom Brady sure looks good in a Bucs uniform.

6 Super Bowls and counting. Doesn't matter what you say - one player/one coach/one owner - and six more SBs than several teams currently have, and 3/4 more than most of the NFL will ever get.
Tom Brady deserves a big payday. i wish him well - he was instrumental in 20 years Patriots success...which makes up for the previous two decades of sh*t i endured as a fan.

Your jealousy does you no credit...and oozes from your keyboard. are you a JESTs / FISH or Buffalose fan?

Firstly, don't behave like a dick.

my post is an interpretation based on the utterly ridiculous and profoundly predictable nature of who/what/when/how you post at QZ. the pattern is all too familiar, you login, post something sarcastic and then - for days on end - disappear into the night like some Scarlet Pimplebrain.

just for once, surprise people. go against your own ingrained prejudices and preconceptions, instead of behaving like a dick.
