We should all breathe oxygen, get nutrients and eliminate waste. Everything else is optional.

Whoever wants to get the album and is able to afford it shouldn't refrain from purchasing it.

I understand not being interested in that record, but I don't think it's productive to try and urge others not to be. If you're not keen on that collaboration (I'm not, by the way), don't buy their releases and don't get tickets to their concerts - that's not gonna stop thousands of people from willingly doing so and having a great time because of it.[/QUOTE]

sleep is not optional.

The album Art is actually worse than that LIVE MAGIC mock up lol.

Well it was always going to happen, this is the treat that Brian hinted at, a couple of months ago.20 of their greatest hit's so it's just a single's Album.I think this will be the first release by Brian and Roger that i will not be buying. They do not have a clue what real Queen fans want ,i.e a good Live Killers Box Set,The Game Box Set.,The Miracle Box Set.They can shove this where the sun don't shine.

Good point! I stand corrected.

There are also other aspects which aren't optional in a civilised society, such as taxes, clothing, driving within the limits, and of course right now masks.

However, buying a live album or not is definitely optional, as is liking it or not, etc.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Oh yes...The Game Box set would be awesome! That would get my vote.
Love is still the answer, take my hand...

I only cringed during the little trailer that Brian put out on Instagram. Predictably, you don't actually hear Adam singing.

Gotta preserve the illusion and all, haha

This album and promotion smells of desperation 100% a ridiculous tongue in cheek idea from May & Taylor
who still feed off the fans for there money shame on them.
They forget the older ardent fans who got them all to where they are now and ignore releasing something incredible with John & Freddie.
The new generation of fans are only Lambert fans and do not really appreciate Queens music and back catalogue with Freddie.

What a fountain of knowledge.

It's a live compilation album, loads of other bands have done something similar, what's desperate about that.

Feeding off fans, bollocks. Fans have a choice to buy music and or tickets as they wish. Same goes for any band.

"The new generation of fans are only Lambert fans. . . . More crap I've seen many old fans of the band at Q+AL you haven't been to any of their gigs so again you're talking crap.

My nephew got into Queen because of Lambert, his favourite album at the moment is Sheer Heart Attack. . . So again more crap from you.

Vocal Harmony Fact this new album has only been released because they cannot tour and have lost millions of pounds.
A few people have already pointed that out on here if you cared to read there posts instead of having a pop at me just because you dislike me.
Fact Queen are in trouble they are too clueless to write new music without John & Freddie and now live in a world of there greatest hits for a living.
If you cannot stand the truth then i suggest you buy this new shit album and sit and listen to it with your nephew and wonder how on earth did Queen sink this fucking low!

Good point well made Benross ,the fact is that Roger&Brian are well past their best live.I could not believe it when Brian said recently that Roger is playing better than ever ! Is that why they have a extra drummer now when they play live? Time has also caught up with Brian, sure he is still a good guitarist but he is in a lot of pain with his arthritis in his hips and back and his fingers. This live Album will scrape into the top 20 no doubt but are they that desperate to make a few grand ?

@Philip Storey Thanks a lot for your post and its nice to get someone who is actually worth replying too.
Yes Brian is more ill than people realise, and there is no mention how Brian is with the old prostate as he had a scare a few years back.
As far as i know they do not even want to approach the subject of new music and they are very happy in there karaoke Queen hits bubble.
Why do we need another live album for and this is a fake one as well with no Freddie & John, we already have Queen at there pinnacle with "Live Killers" "Live Magic" & "Wembley Stadium"
This new album will be a sensational flop and i hope it embarrasses them in the future.

If it says Queen+ Adam Lambert on the cover and it was recorded live during that bands tours, how is it a fake?

The only thing I'd like them to give the old treatment to would be a JAMES BOND theme. They're long overdue.

Too bad there's nothing notable from Freddie to scrape the bucket or at least segue into.

But the Queen of old was truly bombastic enough (*in studio) to fill those campy shoes.

I might have been interested if this were the NOTW Tour and nights from LAS VEGAS.

Unfortunately it's not and I'm not the biggest fan of a set list containing zero "deep cuts" (IWBTLY doesn't count. It was a huge hit in Japan and is only ever played there)

For the BOND THEME:

Adam "yatta yatta line one"
Freddie: "out of context line from another song or demo"+ "I'd kill for your love"

Etc. ...

See what I'm getting at?

If i had audacity or a non company laptop I'd give it a go. ...

Kinda like the way "THREATENED" performed by Michael Jackson utilized old cuts of Rod Serling for a petty great and ridiculous cameo "rap"

They have a percussion player, an extra drummer would be sat behind a full drum kit.

Perhaps you should watch some footage filmed by the on stage audience, you would then see that some of Tyler plays very little in some songs, more in others. Brian May's comment about Roger Taylor's playing is understandable if you play an instrument, Roger's timing is amazing, as is his cymbal work, just because he doesn't play as many fast fills as he used too doesn't mean his ability to play the instrument is lost.

Strange how, for years, The Rolling Stones have toured with at various times, one or two keyboard players, backing vocalists, a percussionist an extra guitarist and a singer who shadows Jagger to fill out the vocal range.

Fleetwood Mac tour with an extra keyboard player, a percussionist and extra guitar player. . . There are other bands too. But when Queen tour with a percussionist they, according to you shouldn't.

Your ageist comments are foolish and your knowledge of Brian May's health records are beyond belief, were did you get this accurate info?

Brian is not more ill, he has been quite open about health. He had a knee replacement and was back on tour within 10 weeks, he had an on going Achilles' tendon problem which has been successfully treated.

He didn't have a prostate problem. . . Of course you can refer to Dr
Storey's list because like you he really knows what he's talking about!
