Curious about what others think about this, especially those that are skeptical of Adam (not the regular trolls and haters). I’m not a huge fan of Adam, but I do like him and believe he is an exceptionally skilled singer. Thought he did a great job here.

I thought it was fine/good. Nice to hear a "different" song than what has been played live for the past XX years.

I am not sure that anyone could say Adam isn't a good singer. It is comparison that hurts - he obviously doesn't have Freddie's tone, presence, etc. But - he is a better fit than Paul Rodgers. And - unfortunately - Brian and Roger don't have the edge of what they used too.

Well, the Japanese certainly loved it. It suits him, this song. It's a bit saccharine, but that's obviously Freddie's doing, and it suits him.

Really enjoyed this.

If some people can't accept that the band have changed (got older are playing in a different age to a slightly different audience) they will never like what Q+AL do. Some just don't like AL and that's fine too or don't like what they now do together. No problem there. I'm not a Lambert fan but I enjoy what he is doing with Brian and Roger.

The thing I don't understand is the constant references to the unchanged or greatest hits setlist. There are tours going back to the late 70's where new music was available during which the setlist or structure of the set list changed little. The PR tours featured less change than the AL tours have done and the "Greatest Hits" set list was set in stone on The Magic tour!

What I understand even less is the pure hate that some perpetrate.

I really like this version!
This „different“ song was always played on their Asian tours - at every single concert. There are several versions on YT.
But unfortunately they never played it outside of Asia. Until this year. After there had been countless requests on social media to keep the song in the setlist, they did it and played IWBTLY in NZ and Australia as well.
And guess what? People did like it! ;)
Here is hope for the Euro tour next year.

Nothing Adam does will impress me. An artist has to be bloody good to get my vote and Lambert is a fake.
I hate people who get thrown into stardom without working there arses off for it, the way Freddie did back in the 70s.
Adam is just one of many of thousands of folk who sings Queen karaoke fashion for a living but with the real band and i and many are not amused with his fake limp performances.

I was born to love you is a great song to play live. I likethe brian solo. Part of the original queen. Adams tone is not special and i dont like it so much
My suggestion is: do a real hologram with freddie appearance.

@misfire: you need to have an open ear to listen. not a mind to be closed.
if you have and have the same oppinion as before... welcome.... but ... yes... but... srsly... LISTEN !
it's not about writing songs anymore... but to have them interpreted.... and this very singer does a HELL OF A JOB!
plz name any singer who is capeable to perform THAT song as well as it is stated here!

Yes totally agree with you Adam is a right prick. lol

Princetom George Michael would be miles better than Adam Lambert and as a bonus George is not fake like Lambert is.
George has a very successful career under his belt were Lambert certainly has not and his own solo career is a car crash here in the Uk.

Maybe you missed the tiny fact that George Michael is dead?

Also, Roger has said that George wasn’t comfortable with the band. They played too loud for his taste.

The phrase present tense has just confused the tiny mind of the Imbecilic cretin.
