Did you see Queen in concert in the '70s and '80s?

I was fortunate to have attended their only New Zealand concert in Auckland 1985 at Mt Smart Stadium. While there were many accounts of Freddie being "drunk as a skunk" on stage, i was so mesmerized of seeing power of Queen on stage, i never noticed this. To this day, i still remember his opening words...."Hello all you kiwi "motherf....kers",. That got a massive roar from the audience.
I still have some concert artifacts and would be happy to share the memories.[/QUOTE]

Hi misabeat! I'd love to hear more of your memories! Would you be willing to add them through the questionnaire? https://forms.gle/vmNanENxFQw68wWy8

^^^ LOL.
THOSE EVENTS DID NOT HAPPEN TO ME

I was asking a hypothetical editorial question about your project.

In the event that there WERE some bad experiences. I.e. the stabbing at Knebworth.

I did not see QUEEN (notice I didn't say QUEEN +FREDDIE)

I've seen iterations of The band and music since. Was too hard lined to see QPR though i did listen in at the Hollywood bowl. Missed their HOLLYWOOD WOF night performance cause i wasn't yet 21 and Had no guardian to help me at Club Ivar.
Seen QAL 3x plus a Jimmy Kimmel live daytime performance. AL's taste has gotten better through the years. Not pulling that "kill the melody with histrionics" thing that Christina Aguilera popularized

What's the book?
