Has nobody here ever seen Led Zeppelin?
My best concert experience was seeing Jimmy Page and Robert Plant in 1998. When Page pulled out the violin bow during How Many More Times, I was in heaven.
Next best was Rush in July '02 in Toronto. It was my first time seeing the band, and that in itself made it an incredible experience, regardless of what they played. They played a great mixture of music anyway, so I walked away happier than I ever thought I'd be from that show.
3rd best was Dream Theater this past July. DT are just perfect, and totally blew me away on stage, playing all the old stuff I wanted to hear. The setlist was entirely different from the first time I saw them in '02, and that made it even better. Well, minus the part of Metropolis they threw into the instrumedley the last time...

how can u say that blue are the best
Um, pardon me and not to be nosy, but who is this Blue?
Best concert would have to be, currently, only really big concert. I have been to assorted other small ones.
Pearl Jam - Lexington '03
Despite the fact that there was this idiot girl behind me who was there just to rave about how sexy every single one of the band members were.
Mother Jane, Rainbow Cafe show was also very good. I really hope those girls get somewhere. But there were maybe 20 people at that show.
Now you know. Buy Mother Jane.
