I think the opposite, I hate Joe Cocker's version, while the Fab Four's is one ofmy five favourite songs ever

Ok quite a few of the lyrics in here are a bit hard to understand, I have to agree.

Party and KS are cool.

Not my fav songs ever, of course. But still cool

The Beatles version of WALHFMF is way better than Joe Cocker's!!!!

So what about Flick Of The Wrist and Lily Of The Valley, or The Prophet's Song written by Brian and Love Of My Life written by Freddie?


when I first got into Queen and got ANATO on tape, I could never find where LOML started till he started to sing, only later when I got it on CD could I figure it.

Out of all Queen songs,IMO,Party & Khashoggi's Ship are the very worst, i always start The Miracle album from track 3.

IMO all the songs on the miracle album are great. Most of the songs grow on me, because to be truthful, I loathed party at the start and DID always skip the song, but after I heard it a few times I really liked it. Some songs you think you hate but in fact you really like.

Has anyone else experienced this with some songs, and what were they?

Well, maybe. I get these naughty ideas in my head, and they fit the mood, so I run with 'em. Anyway, I'm always open to other ideas. So, tell me: if that interpretation wasn't what they meant by that line, then what do you think it meant instead?

Freddie threw lots of parties & passed around a lot of wine, sure. So that's literal. But when you follow the line with "if you get my drift", you just can't take the line literally any more, I don't think.

That line is like winking - it indicates INNUENDO (was it one the wrong CD?)... so... if I'm using too much imagination, then what IS the joke???
