12 years ago at 6.50 GMT 11.50 EST the world had lost one of the rock music's most original vocalist past to musical heaven. Yet, mourn not for he continues to live on in the music he left us and the hearts of his legions of fans and admirers around the globe from generation to generation forever.

It really doesn't seem like that long ago.
I hope that people of the younger generation and of future generations still get to hear his wonderful voice and music. I know that I will let my baby daughter know who he was.

Yeah I don't remember much either cos I was three. But if I was old enough to know I would have cried, I still feel sad now when I listen to his songs (the sad ones) such as you take my breath away, TSMGO and Mother love with the fact that he couldn't finish singing it because he died so Brian had to finish singing the rest of the song.

Just been listening to Time & In My Defence - two of Freddie's best ever vocal performances IMHO. Is it really 12 years?? I was 14 at the time, and remember going to school the next day and breaking down in tears during the first lesson. R.I.P. Fred.

I was only one when he died but it's effecting me deeply...God...I've never been this upset...I miss him. I don't know what to say...
