Or maybe, as I would say: just an opinion? The word "reality" seems a little strong to me. Anyhow, that's just my opinion! :)

this concert is definately missing some great artists who can give a lot more value and another word that I forgot(?).
artists such as Elton John, Paul Simon, McCartney( i know he composed a song but he is not performing in the concert)

I'll be honest here for a second now, I think that there should've been more African musicians in this concert, rather than the well known ones. This concert is for Africa, so I kind of find it disrespectful that more African artists aren't on the bill.

Shoujo, they are looking to attain global awareness of the AIDS problems in Africa. That is not going to be achieved by limiting the concert to African artists only.

the reason is simple: Uk/Us artists have more appeal, have a larger market and audience , and the aim of the show is to attract attention

I don't have a problem with who is on or not. I'm glad that this concert was possible. However, I think that more reputable people should've been on the bill. As far as I know Beyonce doesn't fit. Her new album is out, and I figure that she needs promotion. As far as I know she has never been a relevant cause in the fight against AIDS.
About African artists, I think there should've been more about exposing the world to their music and culture, along with the message to educate people about AIDS. I think there should've been more African artists. People over there should have more voices than the few on that bill.
