I'm not surprised :( , i called my radio station some time ago and asked for "I want it all" and they said they didn't have it

How could ANY radio station NOT have those songs?! The BASTARDS!!!

Our local radio station, Mansfield 103.2, have got every Queen song that's been released, but then again most of the DJ's are Queen freaks.

That's typical in most radio stations. They only pick 2 or 3 songs per artists and no more.

Virgin Radio are the dogs bollocks! They played Keep Yourself Alive a couple of weeks ago when i was in the car, it was great! My mate said 'WTF is this??' I said its Queens 1st single from 1973!! He didint believe me, thought it was great!

The truth is radio stations have access to artist' whole catalogues, they just don't want to pay for extra songs :-(. I used to work for a radio station, believe me, they're tight.

I couldn't believe that in one day I heard 4 Queen songs on the radio over 3 different stations; an easy listening station, a new music type station that was on the 'no hard rock, no rap' session and a usual hip-hop/hard rock station. I heard Radio Ga-Ga, Bohemian Rhapsody, I want to Break Free and We Will Rock You.
Of course I've never asked to hear Don't Stop Me Now or Sheer Heart Attack..although that would be good.

It seems everytime i put the radio on, Queen are on, they must be the most played artist's on UK radio.

its probably the same reason why they wont play Transiberian orchestra's O come all ye faithful/Oh Holy Night song but they'll play other songs from them...either that and the song has a strong guitar lead on it

Really, what stations are the best for putting their songs on most?
Cos all the ones I go on, I wait and wait but they never seem to come on. PLus that bloomin' Air Guitar Advert! I missed it yesterday my mum saw it however, I scremed, " Ahhh why didn't you record it" Adverts like that are hardly ever on. I probably will never see it.

"It seems everytime i put the radio on, Queen are on, they must be the most played artist's on UK radio."
"In fact, here in Venezuela, all the good DJ's appreciate Queen's contribution to music."
And then there is the USA and Canada who can't get enough of Eminem and Nickelback.
It's nice to know there are radio stations who have maintained their taste and have not fallen victim to the demands of currently popular culture.
