Re-record Queen songs

H, I think that Queen songs should be re-recorded by modern artists e.g THE DARKNESS, BUSTED, KYLIE etc.
I think that would be cool beyond my wildest dreams. What do you think? Do you think this is a stupid topic or can you suggest any other artists that would be suitable P.S I hope I get 100 replies!

Why ruin the songs?

if you cover a song, you shouldn't make a copy like most artists do, cause thats lame.

And if you cover a song you shouldn't release it as a single, like most artists do.

I agree, recording covers & and releasing them as singles is weak. Your releasing an already proven hit. Get a hit the old fashioned way, Write it yourself!

Why not get someone to "write" some jokes to tell in between? You could stick it in a theatre....
