I agree, from the man who owns countless bootlegs (by his own admission) it was a bit daft.
Don't know....
Probably the recording with Britney?!
Cos I can't stand her...

The Queen Symphony DVD
Britney was a bit over the edge. And the whole pepsi thing was a bit cringeworthy.

What friggin recording with Britney? What a shame for Queen ...!
they did a retake of WWRY for a pepsi commercial with Britney, Beyonce and Pink
This whole year was like "oh no! why!!?" Everytime when I heard some Queen news I thought that.
The whole Pepsi/Beyonce/Pinq/Britney situation is problematic, especially since the whole premise of the WWRY musical is a rebellion against prepackaged music -- the kind of music for which Britney is THE poster child. Oh wait, then there was the photo op with Avril Lavigne. At least Avril confesses to ripping off punk music and not even owning a Ramones album.
However, The Darkness news does make up for all that, IMHO. I believe in a thing called The Darkness!
