Just came back from seeing it

God I loved this movie so much, and I'm not such a big fan as other people. The end is a little sappy but it fits the story well.

Now I'm gonna try to sleep (if I can). I'm extremely arachnophobic and watching that giant spider gave me the creeps. Hope I won't have nightmares.

Okay, I finally saw it.

Oh man. That was one of the cheesier thigns I have ever sat through. In the scne where they're all jumping around the bed, I was biting my lips trying not to laugh.

And when Frodo had to leave, I think I was one of three or four not sobbing. All in all, not too bad.

What's killing me is that I live in a rather conservative area, and there's a bunch of psycho people now trumpeting about boycotts, because:

-Frodo and Sam must be gay
-Merry and Pippin must be gay

FOLKS! What is WRONG with you people!?

Geeks, you have got to be kidding me! People want to boycott, or ban the movie in your area???!!! What a bunch of rejects.

I felt the movie was good, but too many things bothered me. Like when Aragorn was riding his horse before the 'big' battle. It was way too Braveheart-ish for me. And the ending was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long. I don't think it was needed. I didn't cry, or even feel moved. But I had an asshole behind me talking throught the entire thing, and some dumb bastard infront of me that had his seat pushed so far back my legs were pushed up into my chest. Inconsiderate people suck. I wanted to turn around and smack the bastard and his fat ass wife on the face, and pull hair on the guy in front of me. Shit you pay 8 bucks for a movie. You should enjoy it without the jerks that ruin it.

There must be lots of Jerry Falwell type of homophobic freaks down there. I remember that when 'Finding Nemo' came out, those same fuckin' conservative idiots wanted parents to boycott the film because Ellen DeGeneres was the voice of Dory the fish. For those who don't know her, Ellen is a famous comedian in America who is openly gay.

I think I'll wait until the fourth film comes out next year then I'll watch them all back to back.

I still remember when one of my best friends had the nerve to (at school) hug another of his friends. He got shitted on.

I saw it yesterday... kinda late but considering it is the fourth movie I have seen in my life, not too bad. It was awesome. I am one of your normal everyday Legolas teen fans. He's hott! I have been a fan of LOTR since I was 7 and my mom started reading me the Hobbit. I have read the hobbit maybe 5-7 times and the rest 4 or 5 times. I love the movies and ithink ROTK is my favorite.

Checked out the movie on IMDb, and must say that I'd have never recognized Billy Boyd if I hadn't found out it was him.

Ive watched few enough movies to not know who billy boyd was before. However I do appreciate his performance very much!
