I also doubt Houston '77 can be released commercially, although that is my first choice of concerts that I want to see. Look at WWRY (fast) on the GVH1 DVD. Very grainy picture and mediocre audio. A shame, really.

How many times this year have we had this discussion?
"Elton John and I became really good friends. I don't mean 'good friends' in that sense. I just mean we slept together." -Billy Joel
You tell us, I haven't been keeping track.
The last FC mag mentioned there are plans for both GVH3 and another live concert release. My guess would be Milton Keynes (in full please!).

If they do release MK, and there isn't enough material to add a second disc, they could do a single audio CD of concert highlights :-)
i really hope so!!
Queen Rules-Rock On!!! ...I`m Lord of all Darkness,I`m Queen of the night...
Well, I hope there's gonna be a concert DVD...and I hope a good one from the seventees! Cause if they do Live at Budapest 86, it will be the same music as Wembley Stadium. I wanna hear some other songs live.... I'm still hoping and praying.... :)

"How many times this year have we had this discussion?"

Not too many I wouldn't think, since we're only 17 days into it. ;)

My choice would be... whatever makes you concert lovers the happiest.
"Hammersmith 79 would be a good choice, too."

I'd love to see a complete DVD release of that one too, Barb. But don't you think QP can get problems with that one if they try to release it. That gig was part of some charity work, right? Then again Queen were the only ones who played a full lenght gig for that charity.
A concert would be cool, but what I'd really like to see is the Live Aid bit! I know they only did 20 minutes but can't they put that into a dvd with a different concert on it?
Or make a whole dvd of it, with interviews, backstage ect ect? Or isn't there enough material to put it on dvd?
Freddie Mercury: singer of songs, lover of life
Houston '77 is smeary and choppy in some bits but the sound is excellent. Why QP hasn't considered releasing it is a mystery to me! With today's technology, it could be cleaned up, edited a bit and released. I wish I knew the reason for the hold on it and other concerts. Mannheim '86 isn't available yet, is it?
Why does everybody want all this extra material on the 2nd disk?!! Why not another concert? :) Actually, I think they should release dvd boxes with Queen concerts, like: 74-76 (Rainbow, Hammersmith, Hyde Park, and some rare concerts we have never seen), 77-79 (Earls Court, Houston, Hammersmith, and more rare ones), 80-82 (This box will be the huge one, because in '82 all european tour concerts were prof. filmed, so they have a lot of rare material to put here... And of course I want to see Buenos Aires, Sao Paolo and Milton Keynes here too!), 84-85 (Uncut versions of both nights in Rio, uncut version of Japan concert, Live Aid, and more rare ones), 86-92 (Uncut Wembley first night, uncut Budapest, Knebworth Park, Freddie's last live performances, and the songs that were cut on the Freddie Tribute VHS and DVD, and maybe uncut Brian Brixton Academy...) So, what do you think? :)
"With today's technology, it could be cleaned up"

Pray tell, what miracle technology is this?

Peace,
Adam.
