I think he wanted to know different settings for different songs. The setting for Heaven for Everyone for example, or Procession

But it sounds a bit chaotic at some points, did you play to a metronome?

No metronome. I was simply up late and fancied playing the amp. Had to use the direct out to my multitrack with headphones. And then I thought I'd just try something. All very improvised.
I'm sure the reason it sounds chaotic is down to that and the amount of delay I left on it.

Here's a good tip. Adding a phaser effect really smoothes out the overall sound. I mention it because I'm sure I've heard it on a song before. Hmm... I'll have a think. Very early sounding.
