Yeah, I have to agree with that comment. The musical's plot is a straight rip-off of a 28 year old concept album.

My friend who is a huge Rush fan informs me that 2112 was about a future with no music at all, so it's close but not a complete rip-off. The STYX mini film to accompany 'Kilroy Was Here' had a similar plot as well.

If anyone saw Rush on the original 2112 tour (besides myself!), then you'll remember exactly how it goes:
"We are the priests of the temples of Syrinx..." etc etc.
The show was GREAT! And thinking of the storyline of WWRY, a little too close for comfort too...
Think I'll dig 2112 out and give it a closer listen!
