one night at my friend's house she asked me my views on same sex marriage. I will tell you what I told her then. I said I am for same sex marriage but I'm not sure about kids. I think we need to see how kids turn out when adopted by gays.

Hmmm. My mom became lesbian about a couple years ago, if not slightly more. I wonder how my sisters will turn out

Oh, btw. my op.: Homosexuals should have the right to do anything they want, as long as they don't abuse any special priviledges given to them. So I'm for any kind of marriage (except human-pet marriages - those are gross)

Here in The Netherlands it's quite normal, same sex marriage, for a couple of years now. Well we do have some really differnt views on some things here :) Drugs, euthanasy etc...

I just want to tell you my opinion about same sex stuff. Marriage, ok. Adopting childre, definitely no! The lives of the children will be a nightmare. Don't even imagine that they won't be bullied in school and other places. A child should have the right to a normal family (even if it only has one parent) and a same sex family is not normal, no matter what you say.

Maybe inter-racial marriages should be banned too as those are not "normal" either???????

These kids lives might be hell too (possibly not accepted by black or white children???).

Actually government sanctioned heterosexual marriages should be banned and replaced with civil unions (possibly including polygamy if individual rights are maintained) as religion and government should be kept separate.

Civil unions for all "partnerships" ... That way the religious fanatics could not complain as their religion and the sanctimony of marriage would not be besmirched.
