Why is the sound so crap on live killers ?

I have the 24 karat gold edition on CD and it sounds great! The vinyl sounds good too. Crowd sounds are always good on a live recording, I love the spontaneity and participation in the songs.

Yeah actually Roger disowned this album...because of the mixing I believe.

But the bad mixing is what I ended up liking about it...it sounds more spontaneous (and as I said I like that they didn't mix out the audience). I never noticed that the sound itself was bad, but it is mixed a little strange.

What's terrible about the CD is they shrunk down all the cool pictures that were in the album! They are great photos and I think really enhanced the recording.
