The Album Jazz is absolutely fantastic. Innuondo is another album you must have.
Personally I like the DVD We Will Rock You. It contains a concert from the early eighties. That concert was held in Montreal.

Definitely, Night At The Opera is my fav Queen album, and perhaps also the most important. Anyway it's a must and it should be your first purchase.
Then, in some sort of 'fav' order: The Works, Made In Heaven, Innuendo, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, The Miracle, A Kind Of Magic, Jazz and all the others.
As to live videos, Wembley 86 dvd is great. Other concerts or appearences on dvd: Montreal 81 (We Will Rock You dvd), FM Tribute, Queen Jubilee (Party At The Palace dvd), and the forthcoming 46664 dvd. Then if you want music videos buy also GVH1 and GVH2.

Basically, if it's got 'Queen' on it, you won't go far wrong.
If it's followed by a '+', wait for the sales.

if i was you i'd start from the beginning....get them in order..all the cds first...then concerts...vids...etc...it's easier to keep track of what you need that way!
