i think beyonce is a beautiful, talented woman...but for her to be in a movie based on queen?? no...i don't go for that...she doesn't fit the bill for killerqueen...and then i know this is silly and childish, but i don't like the idea of morons going to the movies just to see something because beyonce is in it not even really knowing who queen is...get over trying to make money...i honestly think that wouldn't fly well in the united states anyway...queen's music means so much more...it shouldn't be so commercialized all of a sudden just for a quick buck...brian and roger...what are yall doing?!?!?!

Last time I saw WWRY it was about some folk rising up and having a good time. Something to do with enjoying the music and not getting caught up in charting success etc.

I don't remember it being about Queen...duh. Try to allow others who otherwise wouldn't give a damn, to enjoy the music. And it's fun for crying out loud! Why do people always have to be so conflicted? "This'll be the death of Queen" or "Queen doesn't exist since 1991". You can't have it both ways.

And if there is going to be a movie version then of course they're going to try and source stars like Beyonce. But at the moment no-one really knows if this is simply a rumour or not. So how about waiting for confirmation?

I listened to her, think she is talented and beautiful woman, very good voice also, but better than Freddie???? Oh please, don't make me laugh.

I didn't say Beyonce is better than Freddie, I stated that she's probably technically a better singer. Obviously that doesn't mean I prefer her to Fred, but rather means that she can do with things with her voice that Fred couldn't, and that require a more developed vocal technique to pull-off.

Beyonce has my vote. I hate the kind of music she makes, but her voice very good. And I think that she really likes to play her part in the movie.
