It is quite baffling and disappointing that they didn't include 'Innuendo' and 'Headlong'. 'Killer Queen' and the live tracks were left off of disc one also. (remember this was originally done for a Flix 1 & 2 laserdisc set)
I understand why the live tracks were left off, but the other 3 should have been included.
I hope we get some more of these someday. There is an instrumental of 'These Are The Days Of Our Lives' playing during the Wembley towers segment on that DVD.. sadly it's interrupted by dialogue and is a minute shorter than the original, but it's obvious that it most likely exists.

I'm pretty sure that Innuendo wasn't included because it's a pretty tall order to add it to a 'karaoke' set. How many would sing along to this one?
And is this really a song you wanna hear someone sing karaoke to?
However, the other three should've been included. Shame...
Peace,
Adam.

LOL, Adam! You can hear someone singing Kareoke to it on the front page - Robert Plant :-)
Only messing Percy! :-)

How about "I'm Going Slightly Mad" next?
Excellent choice :)

For Monday, here's Friends Will Be Friends. I restored the album ending. I suppose the video version ending with the crowd singing along was okay and could have been left alone, but here's this one just to be different :)

And a little bonus.. the original instrumental edit I made from 'These Are The Days Of Our Lives' which spawned yesterday's extended version.

In a completely unrelated note, I've only just realized how funny the address "members.cox" is. :)
I suppose anyone who downloads from them could be called a Cox sucker. Um, nevermind.

Hi all, first time on hear. Ive just dowloaded the latest instrumentals and there brill. How can I get hold of some of the earlier one? I really want the instr. version of One Vision and can't find it anywhere!!
Greatest Karaoke Hits is an official release from EMI (though only in Japan) released back in 1998.
This is the original Queen master tracks without including the vocal tracks (well, actually it includes some backing vocals since it is a 'Karaoke' minded mixing).
it includes 31 songs :)
it is even available here:

NeverForget, either let me know here whether you want the original karaoke (of the single version, roughly 4 mins) or the extended version I did (6:28), or if you have AIM look for me as DeakyFan on there and I can send as many as you need :)
The same goes for anyone. So far I've only AIM'ed with two folks from here so it's not like I'm overwhelmed. I'm not always on but try to be several times a day.
And yes, I recommend buying the discs (especially right now as it's on sale, normally $45 +) if you're into this sort of thing. Many of my files are re-edits where I restore or extend stuff just for fun, since the karaoke set is based on video versions.

DeaconFan (or whatever :P) I'd REALLY love to have the karaoke extended version of One Vision since it is one of my fav Queen songs!!!! The only thing I founded is a (crap) homemade instrumental One Vision and nor the original one!
I have no clue of what is AIM, so, I'd be glad if you let me know how to take it from you.
Have you contemplated the idea of a deal with Rien about this sharing project? I mean, he has a webpage with a lot of interesting rare stuff and you two could manage to upload some or all the karaoke songs you have.
Just apporting ideas :)

If you're going to repost some, any chance of 'Save Me'? I think that's the only one I've missed.
