I'm not surprised that MJ sold more than Queen did. Was he more of a singles-oriented singer rather than an album-oriented singer?

Led Zeppelin never released a British single so its highly unlikely they would be in the UK top-selling singles artists isn't it?

Actually Banquo, they did have one single in 1997, and that was it. They are technically a one hit wonder because of the fact that it was their only single and that it was also a minor hit

I stand corrected.

Hold on, am I missing the fucking point here?
PG posts up a topic entitled "Top 50 singles artists based on UK sales", i.e. this is based on THE UK SINGLES SALES, which is a FACT, and people start posting 'guesses', and arguing about who is more deserving with regards to a rankings system that is not subjective at all?
Are they missing the point, or am I? (and it could well be me, so feel free to correct me in the most insulting way possible)

Silent Assassin, I love you as a brother, but you start with "some facts" and then proceed to a series of vaguely accurate guesses.
I'm sure a recent version of the Guinness Book of Hit Albums has included some sort of overall chart that could be used to settle this?

Bands like Zeppelin and Pink Floyd didn't have much success on selling singles.
Yet still they are among the top album sellers.

I'm not surprised that Cliff Richards got the top spot. He's been around here since the stone age! :o
Good Job Cliffy.

P_G, thanx for your love, man:) These facts are more accurate, than you could think and are more than simple guesses.
