Not better than 'Return Of The King', but yet still a great movie.

That movie was, like, pure fiction.
But it was sooo sad

I usually cry when there a sad movie on, so if I were to make a list it takes a lot of time, yet some of the movies I can still remember makingn me cry are: E.T., K-Pax, Sweet November... It's good however that I also love comedies...

"The Lion King?"
Seeing Simba's father dying because of his uncle is pretty hard for a 5 years old... :)

<< Same, although as far as I remember it wasn't three hours- thank god... What a ridiculous concept anyway- sacrifice few ppl to bring back one... Not sure if they were brave- stupiddity is a better word >>
Geez, Fenderek not only you can't spell 'stupidity', but you can't understand the meaning of the word 'sacrifice'. It seems also like you can't understand that the concept of this movie is not fictional, but a real life story. Besides, it takes a lot more courage to be in a battlefield and put your life at risk than to call these soldiers 'stupid' for saving someone's life. A comment like that is what I truly call... STUPID.

"there's nothing in this world worth dying for...."
I can't imagine someone saying that... Don't you have things you love in the world? Your mother? Your father? Your lover? Your country (probably not, not many people are patriots these days)? Wouldn't you risk your life in order to save one of these?
I'm not talking of situations where it's "1 dies" or "2 die". I'm talking of situations where one death can prevent other deaths. Think about it.

Dumbo

Oh God... how could I forget Dumbo.
The part where Dumbo's mom is rocking him with her trunk is sure a tearjerket.
So much that an army general is depicted crying while watching the scene on the Spielberg flick '1941'.
Bambi is also sad.

the one movie that made me want to shred a tear, which i didn't do, was Radio, after the guys mom dies

I also forgot... on 'My Girl', after the kid played by Macaulay Culkin dies, the girl goes to his funeral crying and telling him to get up so they can go out and play. That one really made me feel like crying.

The Sound of Music (!)
E.T. - my friend and I were in an 80's bar one Friday night where they show 80's films as well as play 80's music. E.T. was on and we stayed there chatting for most of the duration ... but then we had to leave towards the end because we knew we'd start crying :'( LOL
