to ban Gay Marriage.

Sheesh. This whole issue about Gay Marriage is not about morals anymore. It doesn't have to do with religious right wing family values fanatacism! When will Bush learn to accept the fact that the thousands of gay and lesbians couples are getting married not only as a form of commitment and everlasting love, but as a form of protest for equal rights as any heterosexual couple?!

I hope this amendment gets turned down by Congress, and Bush ejected from the presidential seat.

Still this decision is violating the right for each state to be an autonomy, and decide their own laws.

A question. Hawaii is the only state that grants marriage liscenses to same sex couples, right? Or is it labeled as civil unions?

Gee ... and all this time I thought it was about practical things like death, taxes and health issues.

I don't have the strength for any sort of debate on this. To me, it's quite simple. Adults of any sex have the right to make their relationships legal and binding.

People who view it as some sort of threat to their own marriages, or society, or religion, are narrow-minded idiots living in the past.

And Bush is an asshole.

Let's see the good side of this situation... this is another good reason for Bush to not be re-elected.

Whether you're in pro or against gay marriages, the truth is that the president of the United States has far more important things to worry about. Perhaps because nowdays the rumors started to spread that the CIA might have any knowledge that 9/11 was going to happen. So I guess that now the Bush administration wants the media to focus on other issues.

Bush is an amazingly stupid president. His opinion will soon be completely outdated, like the human rights issues from the 50s and 60s are today self-evident.

By the way, Dick Cheney's daughter is a lesbian... she should have some influence there, shouldn't she?

Another one who pisses me off is Arnold Schwarzenneger. The guy thinks that gay marriages are immoral, yet he has a history of abuse towards women.

Now he wants to pass a whole bunch of anti-immigration laws, yet he wants immigrants (like himself) to have the right to run for president.

Shame on the people from California who voted for him.
