Time for a php-board???

Hey Richard & all!

I like this board n all but it's kinda old-fashioned and about time for a php-board with avatars, smilies and other cool stuff!

I agree, lets not make it too tweenie (aparently a tweenie is a 12yr old going on to early teenager if you didn't know, and I didn't)

Avatars, are overated and slow down page loads.

This message board is great as it is, at least you can concentrate on what people write rather than wait for an 80k image to finish downloading.

besides, who wants the board cluttering up with - whose stool sample smelled the best? polls

The official site board uses the avatars, smilies, etc. It's a pain in the ass to read.

I'm happy with it as it is. The only thing I can think of which would be a nice addition is the ability to properly quote someone.

I think keep the same type board - the smileys would only get out of hand. Its good enough doing this :-)

The only thing I would suggest is a new design to go with the new front page...

Although I criticized the new design of the site, I'm more than happy with the current "simple" look of the forum, I like it.

I like the board as it is....
