I heard that Jesus and Mary Magdalene had a family, and the zions were alive somewhere. I'm not sure.
Anyways, Ron Howard is planning to direct a film based on the book soon.

The Holy Blood and Holy Grail is an interesting read and traces his decendants along with a few rather interesting notions about the Catholic faith, worth a look I would suggest.

*This was not by choice. I was mentally forced to take my six-year-old brother to see this godawful movie, and I don't know if I'll ever recover. The fans of decent anime should please put away their machetes. Thank you.
