Mary Austin? pffffft.. She never REALLY existed. She was just a ploy by the stepfords to make others think that Freddie was straight. It seemed to have worked, Because all the guys from the band remember her...

Mary is a nice, kind decent lady who boarded and lodged freddie during the early days and took care of freddie's laundry.. collected all dirty socks and underpants and washed them with her bare hands!!. I think mary has every right to live in garden lodge.
