Many of the films directed by David Lynch, Kevin Smith, Tim Burton, Stanley Kubrick, Spike Jonze, and Quentin Tarantino are considered cult films.

Also they could be considered cult directors.

I would hardly call A Clockwork Orange a cult film.

Teenagers like to think that it is "cult" and "different" because it's not so well known now, but anyone who was around when it was released knows what it is.

"Assault on Precinct 13" is supposed to be John Carpenter's homage to Howard Hawk's "Rio Bravo", although it is hard to compare them since they are so different. All the same, I dig "Assault" also.

Spirited Away, and Garden State (saw a preview for it at Eternal Sunshine For The Spotless Mind) with Zach Braff, which looks awesome - plus, I'm gay for Zach Braff, and it doesn't appear to be getting a nationwide release.

*cough*

You're such a tease, Lester.

Man I really need to get laid.

Edit: How lovely that my 1000th post would be this one. I feel so proud.
