I have been a Queen fan for quite some tim now, but I have just realised what a real, true masterpiece White Man is...the music, Brian's lyrics (especially), Freddie's voice, Rog's drumming... it's AMAZING!!!

I know lots of Queen fans do not like this song but I cannot understand why!
Queen are the best band, and they're still underrated!

Indeed, a great track. The whole ADATR overall is great, no tracks on there which I don't like.

Give me a good guitar, and you can say that my hair's a disgrace, oh, just find me an open car - I'll make the speed of light out of this place...

White Man is a great song by Brian, but I think his best work EVER with Queen was The Prophets Song. Miles better than Bo Rhap. Near the end of the song, I always get goosebumps cos of Rogers screeming in the background!
Chom own mudder fukker.

I absolutely agree, Leah:)) Adore ADATR. And yes, The Prophet's Song is fab, of course. But IMO Hammer To Fall is the best song written by Brian. I know The Prophet's Song is much more complicated etc, but Hammer is my fave:)) I could listen to it all the time, non stop, and never get enough of it.

White Man is great. Good underrated use of the famous delay effect! I just love the sound of the snowstorm :-)

"Elton John and I became really good friends. I don't mean 'good friends' in that sense. I just mean we slept together." -Billy Joel

'White Man' certainly is one of those freakish songs that creeps up on you when you least expect it. I fast-forwarded it for years until I realised the error of my ways. Same with 'Drowse'.
Further proof that 'A Day At The Races' is the finest Queen album.
FLASHMAN STRIKES AGAIN! Paul Rodgers is not the best thing since fried Fred.

Love that album, Love that song...used to skip it until i couldnt find my remote or be assed to get up off my lazy ass and skip it myself...aaaah must've been fate!! ;D
"another tricky situation, i get to drowning in the blues, and i find myself thinking..well...what would you do?"

Very strange how that seems a common veshch, to skip it like that and then end up loving it. I'm still in the skipping phase I'm afraid, horrorshow not literally.. but I still find it too heavy and razdraz for some reason.. real dobby lyrics/message but it's the only odin I don't really enjoy (yet) on that which sloochats to be my favourite pop-disc regardless..

YEAH THIS SONG ROCKS TO THE MAXIMUM,, AND SO SO UNDER-RATED,

one thing it symbolise about Queen is that after its rebelious heavy rock acts in there lays a poet spreading his words about the world we live in!

so under rated at the time so does many songs such as jealousy, thats why bands have fans.... to tell those non believers that this is greater!

ROCK ON QUEENS!
