The pattern so far was late-spring a live DVD, and in late-fall a video compilation DVD. May 2002 was the Freddie Tribute, followed by GVH1 in October. June last year brought Wembley, followed by GVH2 in November.

So word is that GVH3 will be released this Christmas season, but is there another live DVD in the works for the next few months? It doesn't look good if we haven't heard anything firm yet (unlike GVH3 which has been mentioned fleetingly). Perhaps the upcoming convention will yield a couple rumors?

There are people on QOL who claim to know... and their clues point to Hammersmith...but since they are all escaped lunatics the veracity of their opinions is somewhat suspect!

Hate to burst people's bubble (for those who want to see a concert that have never been released before). But to me it would most likely be Budapest '86. Excellent concert, though.

Milton Keynes '82, Houston '77, Hammersmith Odeon '75 are excellent choices, but chances are that they might not be released because they're not filmed on its entirely or because the sound a video quality of the original films in the vault is not good enough to consider a DVD release.

To me, Queen should release a DVD with clips of different performances through their career. If I'm not wrong, a similar video has already been released, which I belive is 'Rare Live'. It'd be great if they could release a collection of live performances.

You're not wrong- but "Rare Live" is one of the biggest pieces of crap ever released...

Nothing has been set-in-stone yet, though there is one main contender which will likely be the final choice. This time next month we shall know for sure.

I want it to be Milton Keynes, too! It's getting annoying downloading it... and it's taking up space on my computer. I'd rather it take up space in my DVD cabinet (which is disgustingly organized, I might add!) :-)

Definitely not the sound being a problem. I remember having an EXCELLENT sounding copy of the above mentioned concerts. They had a quality I could easily have mistaken for an official release. So, needless to say that it's possible that the video is the culprit. However, the only clips I've seen, seemed fine.

Peace,
Adam.
