The Texas Chainsaw Massare remake ruined everything about Lynyrd Skynyrd for me. I used to really enjoy SHA (hehe, it's the same acronym as Queen stuff) but I can't hear it anymore without a shudder. Kind of like how Rules of Attraction ruined Living Without You (or whatever the song was called).

First of all, let me say I find Lynyrd Skynyrd to be one of the premiere bands to come out of the south ever. Songs such as "The Ballad of Curtis Lowe," "Simple Man," and of course "Free Bird" are absolute classics. Now, your like or dislike of a musician or band is your opinion and you are fully entitled to it. However, when you label a band rascist with no other evidence than the fact that they are from the south and wave a rebel flag... well, that is just plain ignorance on your behalf. And don't get me wrong, I don't nor have I ever owned confederate flag. As a matter of fact, I think that that flag causes a lot of undo unrest down here. However, that does not make everyone who waves it racist. And Ted Nugent is out of his mind, not racist.

And Brian/ Holly, what is wrong with being a banjo-playing hillbilly? That's a fine profession that has served my mom and dad (also my aunt and uncle) well for years...

PS: The "new" Skynyrd kinda suck...
