The lateset news:
25/04/2004
Brian May, Roger Taylor and Jim Beach were in Moscow again. I've talked with all of them and got many exclusive (and sometime sensational) news! So here we go:
Today I'll write 5 news, I've got from Jim - he was so kind to answer my questions, so these news are unique - never heard before.
Other news and pics are coming very-very soon! Check this page every day for updates!
1. I've asked Jim about 46664 studio tracks (they didn't release them on 46664 DVDs and CDs).
Jim said, that Queen is working now on 5(!) tracks for upcoming 46664 studio album! (it means, that we haven't heard some 46664 tracks yet)
2. Then I've asked Jim, if there any work on new Queen album.
Jim said, that there won't be any new album, till they don't finish all the works with musical. But he said that Brian and Roger definitely WILL record new album (the only question is - when:)
Also Jim mentioned three new tracks with Freddie's vocals, taken from the middle 80's, that we have never heard before!!! He said, that Brian and Roger are making instrumental part of these tracks now, and these tracks will be released too.
3. The next question was about new DVD. Jim said, that the next DVD will be Milton Keynes (Yezzzzz!!). It will be a complete recording of this great concert (YEEEEZZZZZZ) This DVD will be released in October.
4. Now, some sad news. I've asked Jim about Houston 77. He said that this concert will never be released, due to problems with sound, especially with piano microphone.
5. Then I've asked, if there any concerts from 70's that they gonna release on DVD. Jim mentioned only Hammersmith. I've asked - if there is any concert from 76-79 era. The answer was NO. There is no concert from this era, that could ever be released on DVD. Said, but true.

looking at the guy's English, I think he misunderstood Jim many times or asked Jim questions in a way that he didn't understand so he simply made up an answer
if it's true... well that would be great

Yes,
It would be great news, if it's true.

Great news especially the news on the new Queen album !!! but OCTOBER !?!? DAMN ......
sounds very promising
hmmm interesting Milton Keynes it is then :D
It needs to be confirmed via another source before we take it to heart.
Definitely interesting news if true.
I just shot off e-mails to the official fan club and Brian's site asking for confirmation. I certainly don't mean to question the source's honesty but I'm sure we all would like an official confirmation on what has been said.

i'm really looking forward to the unheard freddie songs and a decent bootleg copy of the houston concert.
italian fans already knew about milton keynes bowl being the next official dvd, i just didnt know when. october? nice, i will start my autumn at home by watching that spectacular concert, i have many hopes about the bonuses too.
i dont care much about the other subjects, especially about the musical: i prefer to spend my money on better (and older things). something with that...what's his name...he's a man with moustache... doesn't matter.
cheers!

I only hope that as we delve into the more obscure Queen video items, and Milton Keynes is far from "BoRhap" in terms of familiarity in the States, the official Queen Productions dvds do not become region 2 only releases. I only have a region 1 player and do not relish the thought of needing a region free player to enjoy any upcoming dvd releases.
"Video Hits 2" didn't contain many well known songs in the US and that came out here so I wouldn't worry about a MK concert NOT being released either.
The Queen DVDs arn't region encoded anyway - they are either PAL or NTSC format.
Grrreat news!!! I also don't question the quality of the source, but a confirmation would be very nice.
I'm not as skeptic as Ron, though. I'm sure Jim was not talking about barbecues or B-Movies. The guy must have gotten the core of the story.
By the way, Ron, your new site looks are great!!!
Cheers,

Damn... (crossing my fingers and hoping)
How come Queen Production says they won't release some of the 70's gigs because they don't have the complete version or have sound problems in some parts, when they already released some crap edited versions of later concerts?
This makes me curious... what things are still hidden in the shelves of that office, yet to see light?
