(I am a Linux User so EAC is not an option for me. CdParanoia is the Linux equivalent and just as good)
This is quite a spectacular collection for a queen fan. It embraces some of the rare tracks, such as the Dea Lane Demos, which was queens first ever demo session, the "Alternate take of One Vision" with the line "One Dump , One Turd, Two Tits , John Deacon". It also have some other sessions, never released, and even a cute track of Brian Mays Daughter singing "I Want to Live forever". all in All a great collection.
The sound varies , but mostly good quality, but bear in mind in the "olden" days Demos where not recorded in full quality sound like they are today, so they are not totally pristine.
But I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Now I agree with FriedChicken - we should NOT spread all the fake demos. Lame stereo fiddling around....
Chicken feed baby!

What player do you have to play it on? it won't work on Windows Media Player
whitemanadmin · Member since
They are in FLAC format, you need to to unFLAC them to wav files to listen to them. Or downlaod the FLAC plugin for winamp to listen to them.
Also here is a fix for the last track on disc 2, which was a bit wonky.

Friedchicken: can you please explain what you meant by "fake demos"
thanks
Plengel · Member since
Example:
"Misfire Alternate Demo" Normally you would listen to that song in stereo. Now some lame-ass recorded only half of the stereo of it (only the sound you hear on your right or left speaker) and called that song an alternate demo take. Which is of course utter bullshit!
(hah, I'va always wanted to say that :D)

I think "Friends will be friends - visual take" is from the video, i.e. including the fans singing at the end.

<<10. Under pressure - alternative KEWB version (Knebworth mix???)>>
Way back in 1991, when Brian was promoting Innuendo in the States, he appeared in several radio shows. While they were playing Queen records, Brian plugged in his guitar and played along with them. There's also a bootleg with these radio sessions with -if I remember correctly- the title "Radio Innuendoes".
Ciao,
Tim

All the Miracle demos are from "Demories Please Majesties": I Want It All, The Miracle, The Invisible Man (with different bridge) and Scandal- genuine! But not rare...
The Hitman should be real as well- sang by Brian, from Hints of Innuendo...

"11. Cool cat - alternative demo with David Bowie"
It's real, but it's not a demo. It's the same version as the one on Hot Space, but the vocals from Bowie were deleted

Better idea would be to put together all six BBC sessions and put it as DOWNLOAD BBC SESSIONS with a bonus of De Lane Lea demos... Where is "White Queen", arguably the best track commited for BBC...? Where is "Tenement Funster"...? And what's the point of adding "The Night Comes Down" if it's exactly the same cut that we've got on "QUEEN"...?
