It's real, but it's not a demo. It's the same version as the one on Hot Space, but the vocals from Bowie were deleted

No, Freddie's vocals are even higher in the demo.

Nope, because that's an official release. If people want to listen to it, than they just have to buy the official album.

And so what ???? do you think that all the tracks that you all download are not official ??? they are made by the same "official" musicians produced by the same "official" producers, recorded in the same "official" studios as all the queen albums that you bought .. ect ...

Downloading official or not-official release is illegal. So what is the diiference?

The officially released BBC tracks are still easily available to buy online/in the shops. If some lame-ass "fan" doesn't want to pay for the official CD, then I say "fuck them". It seems these days that people don't want to spent money on a product OR spent time looking for it online if one can't find it in the shops/online (anymore). Everything should be "you can download it at www.fuckoffyousocalledfan.org" it seems....

I'm trying to download the files, but it seems that there is a lot of selfish persons who get the files and then they close the window.... I'm connected to 1 peer, and I need 1200 hours to finish!!!!

The difference is, most real music fans feel good when they support their favourite musicians, and *not* download their officially-released stuff for free. As for bootlegs, I'll paraphrase Bullwinkle's old signature: "one can't claim lost revenue on something that isn't in their catalogue." And legally, as far as I know, trading bootlegs isn't illegal.

No, almost all the tracks I download are official, but I don't download official tracks from bands that I really like. That includes Queen, Metallica, Guns 'N' Roses, U2, etc. From these bands I only have the official albums bought from in a shop. Yes, I do have MP3's of these bands, but since I have the official albums, I'm allowed to make MP3's of them.

About the downloading of official and non-official releases: This is not illegal!!! It's elegal to share these files and make them available for download.

Everyone can make their own choices. What I really don't like is the hostile attitude towards people who download and/or share. Queen Prod. does not need some fans to protect their interests. I remember that you, Pim, shared official Valensia albums in the hub when official material was not yet banned and I suppose Valensia need royalties more than Queen. Nobody ever attacked you for this and I think we as fans should not fight the fights of the record industry.

Quote from Valensia's Blue Album:

"If you can't get it in the shop guys, download it - stupid record companies!". Exactly my point.

"Everyone can make their own choices."

Sure, I don't care if people download stuff (even if it is available in the shops), but they shouldn't come complaining here "I can't find track XXXX on KaZaa, can someone sent it to me?". I download lots of stuff myself too, but if I like it, I will buy it a.s.a.p.

Look, Pim, I am not that far away from you. It's just that I think there is no need for all the "fuck off" language when these things are discussed here. Mainly when a new user like Vinou kindly offers to share something and gets this (in my view) hostile response.

Actually I do share official tracks sometimes with people from countries where it's virtually impossible to buy anything. For example I share one song per day lately with a fan from Iraq and I am sure even Brian would not mind that. The songs I share are not easily available in Europe, let alone in Iraq. It's not always about legal or "lazy", it's about making your choice and respect other peoples' choices.

OK, maybe I should have put my opinion in other words. However, I still stand by my point that it seems that the some 'new' fans are getting lazier everyday.

Illegal lol!! pirating bootlegging etc is illegal... man politic is certainly coiling up in this kinda fullfilment lol!

illegal is not a term i like to use.. its more "unfortunate" and damn right unfortunate in this case.. as musicians CANNOT giv away any rare materials to sell, each performer loves to put money on their squeeky clean image, which makes us go to the underground vibe and find rare takes leaving the artist not receiving a penny out of our fullfilment.

nature never say its wrong to learn and discover, so why should cyberpolitics start, rock on raw!! and download! we human we make mistakes for the better. a law is just a law nothing more or less, one focusing dictate of words, that has backups from living beings call govs. These guys makes me laugh.
to all them MPs to PMs lets find peace
in downloading the MP3

Big up to all ya original pirates out there!!
too much sweetness is starting to turn on all of us Jab and Tranquilize the sour vibe. so the taste of the bitter pills be our discipline once again (Shaggy)

Unfortunately for those of us in the UK the new copywrite (copyright) laws which were introduced recently HAVE actually made copying ANY music without the express permission of the author for ANY reason illegal .This includes making copies of CD's/Vinyl YOU ALREADY OWN for your own use!!!
Therefore selling bootlegs is now against the law.
Whether the police are actually going to bother prosecuting a file trader rather than chasing murderers/burglars is a matter of opinion.
My opinion is that they will because it's far easier to trace someone selling bootlegs than investigate "real" clues like fingerprints.
