...And I'm REALLY bored! So, How about this... What was the last CD you bought (title and artist), and what made you choose it? For me it was Boston: Greatest Hits. I bought it because I loaned my other copy to a friend of my brother's and he 'lost' it. So, Who's next?

It was the Slightly Mad German CD single by um, I forget who, but it's cool and has 'Lost Opportunity'. Before that I got the Hollywood version of NOTW, and prior to that my 3 latest card sleeves.. FG, TG and J.

Wow... Two cheap shots at poor ol' Billy in one week from you! LOL!
He says "Son, can you get me a tourniquet? My brain's commin' out of my nose! Drove my car off the street, threw me outta my seat, and now there's a tag on my toe..."

to answer dan's question:
The Streets "A Grand Don't Come For Free"
and
Keane "Hopes And Fears"
both on the same day
What made me chose them?
Keane: I like their single and the album is alright but not really great. good new english band though.
The Streets: i'm asking that myself. i suppose it was just a "weird-mood-purchase" cos i actually don't listen to that kind of music.
But i love skinners accent and i love the song "dry your eyes" and "fit but you know it" is fun listening to as well.

Weezer - Blue album (deluxe ediion)
The regular edition is one of my favourite CD's ever - like the best bits of Cheap Trick, the Beack Boys and Nirvana all packed into 40 minutes. The extra disc on this version has a few B-sides that are at least the equal of anything on the album and some interesting rare stuff.
N.E.R.D - Fly or Die
I heard 'She likes to move'and the title track onn the radio, and on the recommendation of a housemate I decided to take a chance on this. I'm glad I did. A bit repetitive, perhaps, but Pharell & co have crafted a very interesing soul-rock-R&B- latin sound, quite unlike most of thier Hip-hop work. Even a guest spot from those tubes out of Good Charlotte can't spoil it.

CD's wise it was Katie Melua's Call Off The Search.
DVD's wise it was Rush - Live In Rio and The Who's The Kids Are Alright (both of which are excellent btw...)

last cd I bought I think was the 2 cd retrospective from Jackson Browne called The Next Voice You Hear. :) Why? I think he's a great singer and this GH collection was a good start for me since I already have Saturate Before Using and Running on Empty.
Sonja-- What are some of you're fave Rufus tracks? I saw him in Columbus, Ohio in February! :D Awesome stuff, I think he's brilliant, gorgeous, and a genius songwriter!

I should brush up on by cheap shot / parody skills. Dan Your parody is much better than mine.
However will Billy ever learn to keep his car on the road. Three "off-road" accidents in two years ... I'm glad I don't live on Long Island. No wonder Ms Brinkley is worried about her daughter riding with him.

Alli- :D Yay! hehe Another fan conversion. :) I lent my friend William my 3 cds last week and he copied them for himself as well. He even has a friend who knows Rufus! :O lol
