Apparently they charted in Total Guitar Magazine at 84 and 60 respectively for the top 100 greatest riffs.. Is this true? Yes! I am calling IMDB.com a liar! A LIAR!

Does anyone have a list of the other riffs? I'd think Smoke on the Water would be up there too...not great but certainly damn popular.

Seems reasonable to me.

If I did it then Tie your mother down would be alot higher and there would be loads of Queen songs in it. But Number one is correct. These should be in the top 50...

IMHO "Sweet Child O'mine" is a good song but faaaar, faaar from being the best riff ever... I can come up with around 100 better licks...
Also NIRVANA's too bloody high...

Oh yeah!!!!! MUSE's on list!!!! though I'd have chosen another song of the band instead of plugin baby (hey! GREAT song though!!!!)

I'd've thought Crazy Little Thing, We Will Rock You and Keep Yourself Alive would be on there.

Am I the only one who thought that the riff for "Paranoid" sounds freakishly like "Now I'm Here"... except I don't know which song came first.

I looked up Brian and it says

'Two of his riffs were voted into the Total Guitar Magazine poll of the 100 greatest riffs; "Tie Your Mother Down" was 84 and "One Vision" was 60 on the list. [June 2004]'
